Investing Amid Low Expected Returns: Making the Most When Markets Offer the Least

I enjoyed Antti Ilmanen's scientific rigour when approaching investing. It is less in-depth compared to Expected Returns which is a bit disappointing. Now we are in 2024 where cash/discount rate is high, and yet asset prices are holding up or even increasing. I wonder what Antti has to say about the current world.

I found this book to be excellent and thoughtful. I'm not an investment professional so some of the material was beyond my needs to fully explore, however, as someone wanting an additional level of depth and detail on key concepts and contemporary research, I found the book to be excellent and exactly what I was hoping it would offer. I expect I'll be keeping this book handy for quick reference for years to come.

Antti offers solid, practical advice on investing. The book is well-structured and provides timeless strategies that are useful for both beginners and experienced investors. Highly recommended for anyone looking to improve their investment skills.
