Not all dogs are affected by it but some are. I have a Chesapeake Bay Retriever 110lbs and a white lab 60lbs. My chessy did not really seem to get affected by it and did not want to even eat it much. However my little lab really liked it. She ate it right up and for about 10 minutes nothing happened so i figured it wasn't doing anything but then she started getting a little more energy. She started to run in circles, play tug-a-war with me (which she never does) and itching her left ear every so often. After a little bit she then curled up in my lap and licked me a lot and then shortly later got hyper again and then it seemed to wear off. This does not harm or mess up dogs I've done thorough research. Also giving catnip to dogs has the opposite effect and can calm them down significantly especially if they have anxiety.
