Lego brand base plates are the best to build on. Lego bricks fit on easily and securely. Other base plates do not work as well with Lego bricks. My children have asked that I only buy Lego base plates for our Lego city, as other less expensive bases are frustrating for them to use. I haven’t used them myself, but the kids love these. They are excellent quality. The colour is bright and matches the blue Lego brick perfectly. They are compatible with other building bricks also.
