These do exactly what I wanted, which is be cheap and hold emergency water in our basement. They are fairly thin on the side walls and don't seal quite as nicely as more expensive carboys, but the price is definitely right, and they function perfectly for my use case.

Great solution for back up water storage during storms. Bottled water is just more plastic in the system and a waste of money.

Serves my purpose for buying it

I wanted a stronger 5 gallon container than the ones that I have been using. These look quite a bit stronger. The translucent material has pluses and minuses. The advantages are that you can easily see the water level and water actually purifies from the UV that gets in. On the other hand, I think that the water will heat up more.

Great size tote that holds a vast amount of liquids. Easy to pour in and Great for any liquid.

I use mine to store water in, the translucent container walls allows UV light into the container to suppress fungus growth. I hae several bottles and after using the 5 gal of water out of the container I leave it out in the sunlight just to be sure no fungus/mold can get strated.

I like the cubic size and the sturdy molded handle. Easy to carry. I use them to store RO water for my fish tank. Added an optional screw in valve so the container can be laid on its side and the RO water dispensed in smaller, carefully measured amounts. Perfect for what I needed.

Got this for my camper van trip and I’m happy with it. Holds water perfectly. Doesn’t make it taste any different. For the price I’m very happy with it. It’s super durable and I think it would take a lot of effort to damage this jug.

Tenia otra idea, me interesaba era el contenido, no es muy clara la venta, quise regresarlo, mas nunca llegaron por el paquete, finalmente me lo quedé, y si lo compras en otros lugares, el costo es mas económico

Great container ! I admit I would have liked it to be more robust (Thicker walls) but needed the wide fill spout to submerge my 12v pump into container. I'm using this for coloured diesel transfer for my heater which is mounted higher up on a cargo trailer wall. I still use the yellow diesel canister for transport from supplier but at least I don't need to lift shoulder height & use the hedpak5 for pump & fill heater tank with ease. Now that I know all works as it should, I will bore through its cap & feed hose through & have a secured no spill event every time I need to fill my Diesel heater. P.S. pump is designed for diesel fuel only & NOT for gasoline!!

It stores water well.
