The only thing I dont like is how long the battery lasts before recharge. Otherwise, its lightweight, easy to handle, does the job!

Very disappointed with the product. Have various other PowerSmart tools and they all work well. Failed on first time usage with chain continuously coming off the guide despite repeated tightening. Gave up after 45 mins and went back to existing tools to complete job. Would have loved to return to return the item and buy a different version, however first proper usage was past the return date.

At first, I was kind of disappointed by the way this product looked... (cheap). Assembly and adjusting the chain was easy, but I am also mechanically incline... so it should be easy for me. The battery too at least an hour to charged and then I put it to the test. I had a cherry wood tree, whose limbs averages between 5 to 6 inches. I also had dried limbs of the same tree and anybody who knows about this kind of tree, this wood is very hard. This machine impressed me because I cut this tree and limbs for like 20 to 25 minutes almost without stopping. Strong and with a clean cut. Usually a 20 amp battery last an average of 20 to 25 minutes the most and it met the expectations. I have bought more expensive similar units and this machine did the same. I have stronger gas units but it is usually handy to have light unit for least demanding jobs... this is where this machine falls.

I got this as a gift for my boyfriend. He really likes it. Said it is the perfect weight and size. He has a real bad back so this is great. I do hope that the battery lasts. The replacement ones are pretty pricey. I hope I can find an Amazon brand that is compatible. And I wish it came with a case. Other than that it seems great. The oil does leak out. So you need to place it on a flat surface and put newspapers or something under it. This may be a common thing, I don't know. This girl has never used a saw. 😋

I have been wanting a chainsaw for a long time couldn’t decide want one~ so I went for Powersmart it’s works fantastic having 3 acres it makes my life easier with this electric chainsaw at first I thought it’s electric will it work? It did a fantastic job the battery is great it actually got me through the winter, my husband got sick so it was me to get the firewood I am 74 years old it worked so good I bought another one for my neighbor this electric chainsaw is wonderful thank you so much 😊

The way the picture looks it seems like they send you a extra chain but they do not. It is a little week but will work on trees lest than 4in or so but the battery does not last long.

Great value for the price. Extremely useful for small jobs.

Used it once for about 2 hours cutting off maybe max 3" diameter branches. Battery died so I charged it and now it doesn't work at all. Also bought the 2 year warranty that they offered with it and only the oil is covered under claims!
