Fit is perfect for me. I ordered the XL. Just a hint of sexy with the transparent panels, but doesn't expose anything that could get you in trouble at the gym. Picture shows them coming down below the knee on the model, but mine stop perfectly just above the knee cap. Nice soft, comfortable and durable material. Did I mention how much I love these shorts? Probably intended to be worn commando underneath, but I prefer wearing a thong for the support. Yes, I would wear these to the gym. I have the XL and am a 6'1" 250-260lb bodybuilder. They probably come to above my knees because of the thickness of mt thighs. Stretch wide, or stretch long, but not both... Waist is 37" and fits very nicely.
