Very Cool
This is a great tube! I bought it to try in a preamp for a warmer acoustic guitar tone, and it really made a difference. Really well made, as expected from Electro Harmonics

8-10% tone improvement.
Tubes arenโt as magical as people will lead you to believe, but I had around a 8-10% tone improvement installing these in a Deluxe. I DID have those terrible GT tubes that comes factory installed in it, which may be why I had the bigger improvement in tone. Expect 5% better if you already have quality tubes.

These are a good quality tube. EH has always worked well in my amps. Can't say how long it will last since I just installed.

Excellent in Fender Hot Rod
I replaced the 2 12AT7's with AX7's. No longer need to route the signal through a pot on the effects loop. Before that pot was installed pushing the volume on channel 1 to from 1 to 2 was deadly your ears. One AX7 made it a little better but 2 is better still.

Did the job
I put a pair of these in my EHX English Muff'n as my old tubes didn't sound too great, and these did the trick! Before, I had this high-frequency hiss with my pedal, but this cleaned up that obnoxious hiss and has my pedal sounding milky and good as new. Great buy.

Great preamp tube
I purchased this tube and an Electro-Harmonix 12AY7 EH to experiment with in one of their pedals, an LPB2UBE. The AT7 didn't actually make enough of a difference from the 12AX7 I swapped it for so I ended up using the AY7. This tube worked flawlessly however and I'll keep it safely tucked away in case I ever need it.

Junk, but the junk got here quick.
Tube was microphonic and they had no replacement. Would cost what the tube was worth to send it back. Basically they took my cash, and gave me junk.Shipping was quick though, so I found out right away that I needed to buy another from somewhere else.
