Even the bristles are silver, but the color doesn't matter to me. I blow dry my hair every day and use a round brush to get it to do what I want. Soft brushes don't grip the hair like I need it to, so I really like how stiff and tough the bristles are on this brush. The metal also heats up from the blow drying helping with the slight wave that I am trying for.
