Very well made. I like the storage basket to keep the trivets in one place. This is exactly what I needed. I have already used these for hot pans right off the stove, and the trivets work very well. They stay in place and do not slide off the counter. I recommend this product.

These trivets are a simple, attractive and functional addition to my kitchen table. I store them on my tabletop lazy Susan, where they can easily be grabbed just before setting down hot bowls and plates of food that might otherwise mar my table.

The basket that holds the hot pads is the best part! It Matches the light weight trivets perfectly and is pretty enough to leave out on the table or counter "at the ready". The Pads are not overly thick or bulky and are reversible. They're the right size for pots, pans, hot dinner plates, casseroles, platters.....etc. I wouldn't take the chance of machine wash or drying though. A long soak, light scrub, rinse and hang dry. Made of non scratching cotton type material which is perfect for use on Furniture, marble, formica, slate, granite or quarts countertops. But it WILL SLIDE AROUND and till leak through if enough liquid is spilled and soaks through though. Colors available should match or compliment any decor. I bought these for my daughter. I haven't seen them yet but she absolutely loves them. She said they are the right size, thick and the color is nice. I am thinking about getting the red set for myself.

The trivets are not flat and threads are loose.

Seem to be of good quality, and looks very good too. I really like the basket to keep them in as well, the diningroom table is less cluttered that way. I have placed really hot dishes on them and they still protect the surface underneath. A couple of times they served as placemats, and the plates stayed on top without moving around. I'm pleased with my purchase.
