We have 3 of these, one for each cat/kitten. We have them right beside their litter box. They work wonderful when it is time to clean out the litter box. Keeps the cat/kitten stuff away from the kids and other areas of the house. I'd have to say it would work just as well on diapers. Seals off so no smells. You can change out the bags very easily. You can make small bags or big bags. It fits nicely with the litterbox so we don't really lose any space. Value for money I'd say it is worth the price and works extremely well. Product is very versatile as we use it for pets instead of diapers. Plastic is thick and sturdy enough not to be flimsy.

I recently bought this and I’m really glad I did. It arrived on time and was well-packaged. The quality feels solid and it works exactly as described. Setup was straightforward and I’ve been using it regularly with no issues so far.It does what it’s supposed to do and feels like good value for the money. I’d buy it again and would recommend it to others looking for something reliable.

This has been extremely helpful as a parent. We’ve been using one for 3 years now with 2 kids. They do hold a lot of diapers and contain the smell if your get the odor eliminating pail refills. I would recommend one for every new parent.

So... got this in December because of a smaller space. And wanted a better air tight solution. It still has a slight odor, once you open the top to put in the diaper, the stench is far reaching. Which should be expected. But as the bin fulls up, it starts to crack open and the sent would leak out the spaces. At one point I had resorted to putting a paper weight on top just to keep it close. The bag wasn’t even full.I’ve had mind for about 5 or 6 months. It broke at 4-5 months. But I’m determined not to make my money go to waste. The compartment that holds waste, is hard to open when the bag is full. And it was during one of theses attempts, which I thought I was getting better at, that the we bottom clips that keep it, so the door tilts, broke. It closes shut, and is surprisingly easier to get the waste out when the bag is full. But it’s still broken. With baby number two on the way, I am contemplating replacing this one in the fall, but I want to increase my use of reusable diapers as oppose to disposable ones. And the diaper genie isn’t ideal for reusable diapers.

If you have a newborn or any kind of child in a diaper, this is what you want to get. It's a game changer for not needing to bend down and open the can. It can take a bit getting used to but once you do, you'll wonder how you went without it for so long. Definitely masks odors. Easy to assemble. Make sure to get the right bags for it though.

been using the Diaper Genie for a while now, and overall it’s been a really helpful addition to our nursery. It does an excellent job of keeping diaper smells contained, which is a huge plus—especially in a small space.The hands-free foot pedal is super convenient when you’re juggling a baby, and the design is compact enough to fit nicely without taking up too much room. It’s also pretty easy to use once you figure out how to load and empty the bags.

It’s flimsy when we received it. This is our second time buying it. The first one we bought it 4 years ago. Not sure if it’s because of delivery or the quality of it. Truly disappointing

Serves the purpose perfectly . This traps the smell completely . You do not have to empty it everyday , once every 2-3 days is sufficient even if you have about 10-15 dirty diapers everyday . I got it for a good deal with 3 refills , with a completion discount in my baby registry which made it totally worth it . This is the best product on earth I would say .

Have been using this Diaper Genie since my son was born (16 months) and can't imagine any other way of disposing of his diapers in a clean, efficient and as scent free of a way as possible.It's important to know that you need to get the charcoal inserts to limit the smell. If you're using it without the charcoal, there will be a diaper smell that wafts from the Diaper Genie. Also, I found that the Playtex brand bag refills work much better than the no-name brand refills. The name brand refills slide much easier down into the Genie, which makes it less of a hassle in day-to-day use.Highly recommended over the other versions of diaper genie. The foot pedal on this version makes the entire experience much cleaner and easier for a busy parent.
