prAnaMen's Sutra Short

I usually wear gym shorts to my yoga classes, but I thought I'd give some 'official' yoga shorts a shot so I don't look like such a bum. They are very soft and comfortable with a drawstring waist cinch. They also have 2 pockets in front and a back pocket. No zipper though so if ya gotta go, untie that drawstring pronto! I don't know if anyone can tell they are yoga shorts, but I even like to wear them on weekends for hanging around the house and running errands. A little pricey for a pair of shorts, but they seem well made and they are very cool. Plus they're made with hemp!

Super comfy shorts, I'm a 32 and ordered a medium as per size chart, they are pretty big on me and the draw string isn't very low key under a shirt. Baggier than I thought they would be for yoga... honestly they're just not my kind of shorts, and they already have stitching coming apart and odd threads poking out of them

This is the most comfortable yoga short I've found. The hemp blend is lightweight and doesn't saturate, great for hot classes. The drawstring waist ensures perfect fit. There's plenty of room allowing freedom of movement for vinyasa classes. The material is ideal to either hang or machine dry. I have two pair. A bit pricey for shorts. I practice 6-7 times per week and would probably own more if not for the price tag. But my first pair is over a year old and shows no wear despite over 100 washings. Expect I'll accumulate a couple of more over time. Can't beat these for overall comfort and value.

I love these shorts! I ordered a medium and I typically wear 34 waist. The only problem is that I have an athletic build (cyclist butt and legs) making them difficult to get on/off over my butt. The waist size and general fit is great once they're on but since they don't have a fly or any give to them at the waist they're difficult to slide on/off. I'd give them 5 stars if they had a stretch waist or button fly.

Like the fabric and color alot. I'm a 28-29 waist and the extra small fits slightly big at the waist (xsmall in Prana's Stretch Zion pants fits me perfect.) The drawstring fixes that but I don't really like how it makes them wrinkle/fold along the top, but I guess that's the look and I'm probably just too picky. Not athletic enough for yoga class in my opinion (usually wear compression shorts), but great casual shorts and dressy-looking enough to wear out. The quality is excellent and should last a long time.

Love these in the long pants version. The shorts are a nice length. I hate short shorts. These come a bit before the knee which is a nice look on me. Also very comfortable fabric light and soft to the touch. My only complaint might be price but i guess you get what you pay for. Plus prana is suppose to have good business practices and in light of recent disasters this makes you extra good about wearing them.

Great shorts that are comfortable and stylish in any setting. These are my go to climbing shorts and they still look great going out to eat before a long day at the crag! The movement you get in these rival any gym short out there with more durability than you would expect from a short this comfortable and soft. They fit as expected, with the medium fitting my 32in waist very well.

Great shorts! They are very durable and comfortable. I have a slightly older pair that I would wear in the pool. I know they are not meant for this, but they held up structurally. They did fade quickly however, but I anticipated that.

Perfect shorts, just like the perfect long yoga trouser version. Just wish they did them in pure white for kundalini yoga.
