Xbox 360 Slim AC Adapter AC 100-240V 2A 47-63Hz

It's a Cheap Chinese knockoff of the Xbox Slim power adapter. It gets the job done and I can't really tell the difference between the Hyperkin and the Microsoft product. I think it's identical, but perhaps a differrent sticker is put on the back. There has been some blogs that claim the "Microsoft" SLIM power supply is junk and the cooling fans buzz loudly and stop working after about a year? That's what happened to mine, and there is a cheaper solution. BAD/ANGRY PEOPLE - DO THIS: Go to Target or Walmart. Buy a 360 Slim ($179.00). Go home. Take out the new power supply. Put in your old and broken power supply. Return the item at the purchased location and say, "I didn't like it". They will check the Serial Numbers on the XBOX Console, but not the power supply. It's a free, but DIRTY way to get a new power supply. Maybe Microsoft will get the point after they repackage 50,000 units of 360 Slims w/ bad PS?

I got this power cord so I can travel with my Xbox 360 without removing all the cords from my TV. This means I can easily compare the original AC adaptor to this one by Hyperkin. When you use this power brick it will be much louder than the Xbox 360 itself but many people reviewing this product seem to be under the impression that it's their Xbox 360 that has gotten louder. In fact, just the power brick is louder (much louder than the original one that comes with the system itself.) Despite the volume the product works wonderfully. Since the power brick does have its own ventilation make sure to keep it in a location where it can air out, just like the Xbox itself.

I'm only giving it a 4 star review for now simply because I've only had it a day...But so far so good, I've been playing Fallout 3 and Gears 1 for about 5 hours straight and the power supply has given no problems, the fan does make some noise, but it's a smooth sound and it's absolutely nothing compared to my Microsoft power supply I had to replace with this.My Microsoft power supply started going downhill barely 3 months after purchasing it (grinding fan noise, sputtering) And ended up completely dying 6 months after purchasing it. I really don't understand some of these bad reviews, maybe you guys got a faulty one, but this thing works pretty well. Not only that, but for 27 bucks, you can't beat it. Where as a pre-owned power supply in Gamestop is 40 bucks. Thanks guys, you really have done me good here, didn't think I was gonna be playing my 360 for awhile.

So I received my new Xbox 360 AC Adaptor today, the product is in one piece and works great, the only thing I was disappointed about was the cord that plugs into an outlet was about 1 foot shorter than the old one, but other than that the Adaptor works great. Instead of being able to play my Xbox for 30 minutes before the adaptor overheated and cut power to my Xbox, I was actually able to play it, and watch a movie on it for 3 hours completely uninterrupted. I am completely satisfied with this product and highly recommend anyone looking for one to get it through this carrier. great price, arrived on the day it said it would, it works, and I'm happy. Ok usually when things are factory sealed they come in a box or some kinda plastic to where you can easily tell what it is you are buying. This was not one of those things. It arrived wrapped up in bubble wrap and held together by rubberbands. The product itself works but makes a very loud and irritating high pitched whining sound. It can even be heard from across the room and with the tv on. The only reason I am even giving it 3 stars is because it arrived quickly and it keeps my 360 running.

I was looking for an inexpensive replacement for the microsoft version of this product as it had burned out. I stumbled across this one and thought I would give it a try and hopefully save some money. Had it for about 5 months now and its still working after many long hours of play. Good Product. I would definitely buy it again. Unless I needed to buy it again in which case the original one stopped working and then I would probably have a different opinion of the product and would be unlikely to buy it again. Did you get all that?

I bought the Halo edition Xbox 360 slim in September 2010. Just over a year after the purchase the original power supply died. In a panic to get the power supply replaced quickly I searched Amazon. This was the first I came across. I received the item quickly and despite the supply itself being a bit louder when in use had no negative feelings towards the product. This past week my Xbox began randomly shutting off again. I found that the power supply was quite hot so I relocated it and mounted it where it would have 360 degree air flow, and yet still the same problem. Today the replacement power supply died entirely, only 6 months after I purchased it. Save yourself some hassle (and frustration) and register your product through Xbox's website and pay the $35 to order a new power supply directly from Microsoft. I have no ill feelings towards the seller, merely the manufacturer. However, I will not be buying from them again. Next time I'll go back to Microsoft with an issue before wasting time & money elsewhere.

I was so bummed when our original Xbox adapter burned out. I wasn't even sure how to replace it and surely wasn't interested in navigating the slow maze that is Microsoft support. Of course, AMAZON! The product is everything it said it was, even down to looking exactly the same as the item I was replacing. It costs less than the Microsoft replacement. There is no difference in use and it continues to "power" on through the hours of gaming and Netflix watching it's put through. The item was reasonably priced and has performed well in a dust filled environment (we live in the country and no matter how much you clean, there's always dirt and dust, especially behind the TV). I would definitely recommend this product as a replacement.
