Oversized Envelope Clutch Evening Bag with Chain Strap

pleasantly surprised. i took this to vegas and i will never not take this out. it has so much room and don't get me started on the giant pocket that opens up for bigger items. you can wear it as a crossbody, shoulder bag or even take the chain off and use it as a clutch. the color i got goes with so many outfits. dress it up or dress it down easily. comfortable on your hip, chain bags usually bother me but this one didn't. functional, versatile and stylish.

Purchased this purse to accessorize with red shoes for a simple black dress. It is perfect. I love the style - A large section to put what I needed for the day and the front section for my phone, lipstick, cash to grab quickly without digging. I used it as a clutch but it comes with a lovely gold chain strap. There is enough storage that I tucked the strap in a zipper pocket out of the way but won't lose it. The material is soft - not a suede.

This is a pretty decent little clutch bag. Something about the hardware elevates it a little. For the price, this is a cute little bag. I got it because I needed a dressier bag in this color to go with a certain outfit. It holds a good amount. It’s a sizable clutch. The most interesting part about this bag is that the point of the “envelope” zips open and that is the true interior space of the bag. But if you don’t feel like unzipping all of that it the envelope also flaps open and closed with a magnetic snap to conceal a smaller pocket where you could still fit essentials. Both interior spaces are lined with a black and white striped fabric. It has a gold longer chain strap if you want to wear it as a crossbody or shoulder bag.

This is a pewter color with a beautiful removable gold chain. The top zips open and it can hold a lot! Then it folds over like an envelope and is just so classy!! I never need another evening bag/clutch…. This does it all!!

This clutch was bigger than I expected but ended up being perfect for a wedding where a lot of walking was involved and a pair of extra shoes was needed. I was able to stuff a pair of heels in this clutch and then comfortably carry a pair of flats later on during the night (keep in mind I have small feet, shoe size 6). Probably wouldn't work with someone with larger feet. Either way the extra space came in handy and I was grateful I didn't realize how big this bag was when I was choosing options (I was looking for a small clutch). The chain was a great addition as I love crossbody bags so I was happy with that option. The chain comes off so it can be carried as a clutch if needed. Not sure how durable it will be as I only purchased it for that event and plan on saving it for special occasions, not every day use. I would definitely recommend this if you're looking for a dressier, inexpensive clutch for a night out.

I bought this last minute to coordinate with an outfit. The size and structure were perfect for my needs. We were traveling for an all day affair and I had a lot of "in case" items with me - including a pair of ballet flats. The bag held it all and the strap did not strain. The color was beautiful. As others have said, there was an odor to the bag. I left it in a room overnight and the smell was pretty much gone by the next day. I would buy again!

When I first opened the package, I was like where the heck is the chain?! I looked inside the zipper part THREE TIMES and still couldn't find it, but I could feel there was something in the purse and moving around. If you think yours didn't come with the chain, look inside the zipper inside the bigger zipper area. It should be in a small plastic baggie. I felt dumb after I found mine lol. I purchased this for documents (8.5" x 11") but this purse wasn't big enough for them. They were too wide by about an inch or so. Oh well, still a cute purse for going out or to use for work for planners and smaller portfolios that aren't letter size. I would also recommend keeping the chain stored in the plastic baggie when the purse is not in use, as chains like this tend to turn a copper color after time. The purse has a zipper (where that plastic baggie is containing the chain) and 2 "phone pockets" on the inside of the large zipper part. There are also card slots in the "main" part that is folded over by the zipper part.

This is one of my favorite bags to use. It is spacious with lots of compartments. I have a blue one and a yellow one.
