Attractive, and use right out of the box for stability and simplicity. works very well (with the tree ones you can also double up on each side and spread them out a little to create a little forest that holds extra big and heavy books). Sturdy, but also pretty!
These are so cool, I ended up buying another set! I was hesitant to try them out because I've never found a set of metal bookends that work. So far these have held up any books with ease, even heavier/larger ones! The bookends I had before would only hold up books as long as they were already against a wall or bookshelf. These prop up the books without any extra support, which opens up a world of decorating possibilities. I've had a lot of fun reorganizing all my books, and using these to put the prettier collector's editions on display. They're so pretty too, and my husband also likes the look - especially with the LOTR books.

Great Value, Looks Beautiful
They are beautiful, nice size, great value for getting 3 sets of book ends. The reason for the 4-star is that I had hoped it would just a tad heavier. But with the 3 sets--I was able to split the books apart in groups as well as mixing hard copies and paperbacks and they work fine. It really is more of a 4.5 stars.

Happy with the HappyHapi Book ends
Perfect for paperbacks. Came carefully packed and damage free. They are sturdy and very attractive with a flat black material and three different tree designs. They are also beautiful just placed on a counter as a decoration.
