The packaging was not great tho, it got bashed on the truck I guess, the vent side was crunched. There was no protective cardboard or paper , nothing on the top either which I thought was shocking bc it could have easily been cracked. We replaced our 34 yo Coleman on our 5th wheel and the weight difference was amazing due to hopefully a more efficient unit. The fan wouldn't come on at first so it had to be gone through to see if it had a problem more than us but the second try it ran good. We also bought the inside piece from the same brand, fit good, works good, we are happy with our purchase and can recommend it to others looking to upgrade. Ours is cool only, not heat. We also are replacing the wall thermostat with the 120v newer model for RVs. We did buy the extra warranty protection bc while these are great for the price but they are still pricey. Easy install and a bit quieter of course than the old one. It was a good buy for us. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ works as advertised! *by A***R on October 17, 2024* I replaced the OEM with the same style Dometic AC... BUT this unit blows that one out of the water, it's quieter, colder and easy/simple to install. i ordered a 2nd one to install.
