New Balance Men's Fresh Foam Contend Golf Shoes

I recently purchased the New Balance Men's Fresh Foam Contend Golf Shoes to replace my Puma Ignite shoes, and I've got to say that these are in my opinion a much better shoe. These shoes offer exceptional comfort, stability, and value for their affordable price, making them a standout choice for any golfer. It alleviates any discomfort or fatigue, allowing me to focus on my game without distractions. Even during longer rounds, I have experienced no discomfort or soreness, which is a testament to the superior comfort these shoes provide. Along with that, they come in a variety of different widths, which was convenient for me because I tend to enjoy the extra room. One aspect that sets these shoes apart is their ability to keep me firmly planted during my golf swing. The traction and stability they offer is pretty great. I have been wearing them for last nine months . They are very comfortable , provide the stability, slip resistance and make great walking shoes on a golf course, just that they are not water proof. They can best be described as water resistant.

Comfortable and accurate size, waterproof and lightweight

Solid and stable without being heavy. Comfortable shoe. Interior padding makes it feel a little small but it doesn't seem to wear on me as I play in them.

I have 12 4E size feet and it's difficult to find shoes...especially golf shoes...that fit. I went to my local large golf store and looked through a few hundred pairs of shoes but none were in my size. I bought shoes twice by two different brands that said they were my size without trying them on first but they were much too tight and hurt a lot. I had to take them back. Other brands make shoes that claim to be my size but they're really not. New Balance is true to their word. This 'Fresh Foam Contend' golf shoe is perfectly sized and very comfortable. It's plenty wide enough where it needs to be, at the balls of my feet. Plus they're waterproof. I played a wet, muddy round yesterday (January 5th) here in Seattle and my feet stayed dry. From now on when I need golf shoes I will quit looking around and just buy New Balance golf shoes from Amazon.

New Balance have reduced the size of their "toe box" in this model. I buy New Balance because they make a 4E width fitting, and their shoes have always been comfortable. But in this model my toes were a bit squashed, reducing the comfort of an otherwise very good shoe. Perhaps the shoe profile may look more modern or sporty, but disappointed in toe fitting. Apart from that they fit fine.
