Beware - Picture is misleading, only 1 cover
The product works as advertised. However, I expected two covers in the package based on the picture of the product.

I really wish these sellers would NOT mix products on a single entry
This seller uses the same page for selling two ladders, a rail, and two rail covers. First problem is that makes the reviews unusable. The vast majority of the reviews were for the ladders, not the covers. Second problem is that what they sell for covers (at least on this entry) is a 6 foot and 4 foot model. I went with 6 thinking that would be big enough. It is not. For my rail (which is fairly standard and is basically the same measurements as the rail they sell on this page) I really need an 8 or 10 foot cover. The cover is well made but I'm only giving it three stars for their marketing [ploy, mix-up, mistake, oversight] or whatever. I know I have a part in the wrong selection, but you would think that if they are displaying a rail as an option on the same page, that the cover would fit that size rail.

Deceptive listing for this Single (1) handrail cover
Deducted 2 starts for the deceptive listing description! You only get one 6ft rail cover, but the pictures show two and no place else does it say you only get one. This annoys me to no end... The one cover I received seems of good quality and goes on easy. I'm sure the color will fade to only a shadow of what it is now after only a season or two, but for now it looks nice on one of my handrails.

Comfortable to grip, soft to the touch; holding up well to the FL sun so far
I live in SWFL with an unshaded yard so my single pool rail tends to get hot, especially in the mid/late summer afternoons. One of the things I love about this handrail cover is how much more comfortable it is to grip the rail when entering/exiting the pool. The rail also stays surprisingly cooler than without it. I also love the zipper design. I expected to need the help of my husband to put this on but was actually able to install this myself in only a few minutes with minimal effort. While the material does allow a little bit of flexibility it isn’t overly thin or flimsy either. The texture is soft and feels nice to the touch. I’ve tried the Velcro style covers similar to this in the past but they never seem to last more than a season or two. The zipper seems to be a good alternative to that. My rail measures 1.70” in diameter. The fit seems a tad loose on my rail; there’s no “stretching” of the material so there is some bunching along the bends and the cover will occasionally twist when using. It doesn’t slide along the rail though which was my biggest concern, although I do suspect that the bends of my rail design plays a role in keeping this cover in place overall. Time will tell of course how well this holds up to prolonged exposure to the FL summer heat, but so far I’m very happy with the quality of it. Despite an average UV index of 8 recently (typical for spring in my area) and the occasional heavy rain in the evenings, the cover looks brand new with no fading or fraying so far. I will update my review after the summer months if anything changes.

Pool rail covers do the trick
These pool rail covers come packaged so tightly, I thought I got the wrong item at first. They were a bit awkward to put on the pool rails, but once they're on, they prevent small hands from being burned by the hot metal rails. My one gripe is I worry they'll move around too much and cause someone to fall if they put too much weight on the rail while these covers are on. We'll see...pool season is just starting in the south.
