This Peet's "Big Bang" Medium Roast is just about the best I've found. It's only real competitor, in my opinion, is the Seattle's Best "Portside" Medium Roast. Both seem to be on the Bold side of Medium, with no bitterness. The Peet's "Big Bang" seems slightly smoother, but the Seattle's Best "Portside" has a slightly stronger flavor. In contrast to this smooth Peet's blend, Starbucks' popular "Pike Place" Medium Roast is noticeably bitter, not smooth.
