Great Food that Fish Love and very little waste
I used frozen and liquid mysis containing foods and although my clowns and cardinals love them both i found it really difficult to control what i introduce to the tank. With both frozen and liquid versions so much excess would get missed by the fish and float away/dissolve. Every time i feed those foods i keep thinking how much i am polluting my water since less than half is getting eaten. With these pellets greater than 90% is eaten. I sprinkle a tiny pinch at a time and they float for a short period and the fish go crazy and eat it on the surface. After a few seconds they sink and the fish follow it down and rarely does anything make it to the bottom uneaten. I do this for a minute and then discontinue feeding. Less waste = Less Pollution in my reef tank. Pros: No thawing.. ready to feed Floats for a short period allowing fish to eat before any sinks to the bottom Allows for easy portion control and possibly auto feeding Cons Smells worse then frozen/liquid foods. I am ok with that.

Great for picky fish.
All of my saltwater fish go absolutely nuts for this stuff. This is by far the most universally accepted pellet food I have used. It's a bit on the pricey side to use daily for my size tank and stock list, but when I am acclimating a fish and trying to get it to eat pellets, this has become a staple for transitioning them from live and frozen foods. As far as pellet size goes, the pellets are small enough to be consumed by all but the smallest of fish. My 1.5" chromis and lyretail anthias have no problem with it. I would say the typical size is more like 0.75mm, even though the label says 1mm.

... the fish in both my planted and reef tanks love these pellets
All the fish in both my planted and reef tanks love these pellets. The size is not a constant 1mm like some others out there, which can be a good thing or a bad thing depending on how you look at it. I personally like it because not all of my fish are the same size. My chromis prefer smaller foods while my foxface prefers larger bits.

Fish love it
I tried a PE frozen product and the response was excellent from my fish, so I gave this pellet product a try and they love this too. I initially tried PE products because of the high quality ingredients.

Crack For Your Fish and Corals!
This stuff might as well be crack for your fish and corals. EVERYTHING readily eats it (ok, so our urchin doesn't, but he shouldn't anyway). I've never seen a feeding reaction in fish or LPS (or SPS with a significantly large mouth), softies, etc. I spot-feed rock & mini-maxi anenomes and their mouths open gaping wide in nothing flat. The fish simply can't get enough of it. Lobos, acans, even when I powder it between my fingers, corals like blasto merlettii and pectinia will readily gobble it up. I'll still use rotifers for some filter feeders, along with freshly hatched brine shrimp, but this stuff triggers a feeding reaction like nothing else I've ever used - including Hikari frozen foods and pellets.

Easy to feed.
All of our tropical fish seem to like it. Small round balls easily eaten by small fish like neons, enjoyed by all hunting down the sinking pellets (ordered the small form factor).

Sink immediately
I purchased the 1mm a couple years ago and they were amazing. ( I know they get stale) Betta loves them. Slow to sink. Decided to buy a new bag and these sink immediately. Not as described or the last bag. Anyone else experience this? Disappointed as they are expensive.

Great stuff
This stuff is great. The fish react noticeably different and it really does stimulate a strong feeding response. Being fed to white cloud minnows and danio glofish. I had one minnow who wasn’t eating for weeks and is the runt of the pack but this stuff got him eating again! Bought the 1mm size and everyone eats it including cherry shrimp of course. Try it out!

3 YEAR OLD FOOD? Beware
This is my first time ordering from this seller. This is my first time ordering Piscine Energetic foods. Today is Oct 9th, 2019 and the food that was just delivered to me has a manufacturing date of Oct. 25th, 2016.* 3 YEAR OLD FOOD? The 6 in 2016 is conveniently rubbed out... I would be willing to bet that there is a gray area when it comes to shipping foods that have vitamins and other perishable ingredients... I am betting that if the date isn’t CLEARLY marked on the package (the 6 not being in bold print, oops...couldn’t tell the date, hey guys?) that it could be marked as unknown and therefore still saleable. Just a guess ! I would give ZERO STARS if I could. I will not buy from this seller again. I question whether I will buy any fish food from Amazon.ca again if there is no form of quality control being enforced

Little Large
My fish took a little time to try as the pellets seemed a little too hard or big for them (My tank has just small fish no larger Angels or anything like that). Once I ground them up a little the fish seemed to like the food. Color of the fish look good.

Fish won't touch it
I own 125 gl freshwater tank. As you can imagine there are a fair number of fish in a tank that size. Not one single fish will eat it. Not even the place or the cat fish.
