This little RC boat is fun to operate, it is fast enough to send a wake splashing up on your feet while you are standing on the edge of the lake, but I don't think it goes even close to 30 mph. It looks like it may reach around 15-20 mph, and that is fast enough for this size boat, if it were any faster it would be uncontrollable in any kind of chop. The battery lasts about 20 minutes running at full power, but is a little difficult to install. Another battery would have been a welcome addition. The remote allows you to turn down the power to make it more suitable for younger kids. My 4yo grandson finds it easy to drive when at less than 50% power, but is quickly adapting to faster speeds. This is a great little starter boat, but would need to be bigger and more powerful to race with hobbyists.

I saw some reviews that made me question buying but I decided to go for it after seeing videos of people using it. I can say I am blown away by the speed and performance of this boat! It did 30mph plus in a river that had some decent speed. The stability is great and just carves through the water. Run time was about 15 minutes of full throttle. Battery charge was about an hour. It made my weekend trip at the river so much fun. I would recommend getting some extra props though. I hit some tall grass and broke one and luckily the boat came with a spare. Totally worth the purchase and very pleased with it.

This boat is super fast and so much fun. In the video the boat is on low speed. We live in Michigan and we played with this on December 30th, so the water is really cold, and the boat ran perfectly. After playing with it, I was happily surprised the inside of the battery compartment was completely dry. The boat did dives and flips and always rolled itself over. My 8 year old is so excited to play with this this coming summer. You need to be careful of rocks though. He broke a fin already when he was trying to bring it ashore. That won't be a problem in the summer though when he can get in the water to grab it. Today we were trying to get it as close as we could to the beach.

Decent little boat so far. Took out twice. Goes fairly fast. Controls decent. Distance fairly good.does not capsize. 2nd battery be nice. 15 min ish run time on the one battery. Does get some water internally in boat. Does not seel real good. Recommend opening it up each use and drying out. Over all fairly happy with it. At this point. Used in lake and ponds. May be little fast for pools. 7/31/22. Humm. Ok therd time out. Remote saying battery low. Used for less then 3 minutes an boat died. Battery. Humm. Put on charger three times and says full charge but when hook up battery it is beeping low battery. 🤔. Used 3 diffent chargers and on new on. Sane thing. Defective? Will see. 8/16/22 they made it right and sent me anouther boat in one week. Problem is it also is doing the same thing. Used it twice and the battery does not charge. The charger stays flashing not fully charge. As soon as you put battery in it beeps battery low🤔. Take boat out and runs only few minutes. Not sure what is up here. See where this goes. Humm. Odd. Never resolved boat problems. Did return an do not want this boat.

Ordered one last year. Did great. Ran it into rocks and broke it. That one was on me. Ordered 2 for this summer. Props broke on both on the first couple trips. Didn't hit anything. Just snapped blades off. Customer service was terrible. Had to buy more props from their China site. Took 3 weeks to get in. Got them on, now steering gear in one boat is stripped and the other steering motor is unresponsive. Swapped parts to diagnose problems. Not ordering more parts. Boats are fun and quick when they work. But 2 trips out ain't worth it.

Great boat, BUT they really need to design the battery bay better! It's a pain to get the battery in every single time!! Kills the vibe of a otherwise fantastic toy. It's super fast! The self righting function works well. Overall a joy for my 6 year old.

Very cool and fun. only problem is I ran it twice and it quit? I asked for a replacement and return that one. We’ll have to see how long this one lasts. It started to not respond to controls, but then would activate on its own and spin the proper a little bit. Not great if you’re on the lake, you don’t feel like swimming in.

The Challenger model is a really a fun and amazing RC boat. It's really fast, easy to steer and quick to respond. It shoots a rooster tail feet in the air and you can spray your friend by doing a high-speed turn right next to shore. The RC boat itself appears to be quite rugged. As an example demonstrating its ruggedness, I drove it at full throttle into a small buoy that was obscured from my view. It flipped up in the air over and over, hit the water upside down, self-righted in a few seconds and I drove it back to shore with no problems. I looked it over and was astounded to find zero damage. Wow!

Watched the video prior to purchasing expecting it to be half as fast! WRONG!it’s absolutely awesome and so quick! Took my 8year old a little to get used to it but now he’s a legend with it! Second Battery would be a bonus but we get a got 20min run out of it I have used it in salt water but do flush it through after use with clean water

2024.1.6：初めてボートラジコンを購入した。 調べた中ではこれが性能、速度、値段共に最適解だった。 まず転覆からの自動復帰があるのがうれしい。 もしものとき、水上では救助に行けないので、ボートラジコン初心者の自分の中では必須機能だった。 また、操作距離もかなりの物だった。肉眼では停まった状態ではどちらを向いているのか わからなくなるほどでも操作が効く。(70～80m以上?一旦は自分で試したほうが良い。) Maxスピードではちょっとした水面の波でも跳ねながら進む。これは衝撃だった。楽しすぎる。 ターンもクイックで楽しい。 船系は遊べるところが限られるが、近くにあるならお勧めしたい。 おっちゃんたちの散歩道での操作は話しかけられる可能性があります。(笑) 2025.2.9：追記 満充電で走らせたのに、すぐにピピッ、ピピッと充電切れの音が鳴った。 夏にも同じことがあったが、そのときは満充電にしたものの1か月くらい経っていたので、 自然放電が激しいのかなと思った。 その後はこの不具合?はしばらく無かった。 大きな川で遊ぶと、ちょっとしたバウンドから水中に入り込むことが良くある。 開けた際に結構水が内部に侵入していたことが3度ほどあり、そのダメージが蓄積したのかもしれない。 実際、シャフトなどには錆が見られる。 遊んだ後は毎回ブロアで水分を飛ばした後、完全に自然乾燥させていた。 回数で言うと2,3回/月程度の使用だったので、寿命？密閉性の甘さ？で少し残念である。 だが面白さは間違いない。

Bought this on behalf of my 14 year old son. The boat has good analog steering and speed control, and goes more than fast enough for its size, so he prefers to turn the top speed down to make it more controllable. He once managed to flip it pointing down and it powered itself straight down below the water. We waited a good five seconds, thinking it had sunk, and it bobbed back out, still working perfectly, and with no water ingress. The only negative is that it takes several hours to charge from the cheap little charger, and you have to fully remove the battery from the boat to get to the charging wires. But, a single charge gives well over 30mins of continuous use, and you can always buy or make a second battery pack as they are simply a set of three 18650 style batteries. He's happy with the boat, and nothing has broken since he bought it three months ago.
