FANTASTIC quality thread with great color choices!
If you are looking for a great quality thread, you have found it! One of my favorite threads because of its strength, nothing is as aggravating as flimsy thread snapping right in the middle of sewing! Little things can make a BIG difference, choosing this tread is one of them!

Excellent value for your money
This is the third I order this thread. I make totes with burlap coffee bags and I needed a strong and thick thread for the job that wouldn't be too costly. After researching on Amazon and reading lots of reviews I decided on this one. My first two orders perfectly fine, I was able to even use this thread for finer details without compromising the quality of the final product. I was so happy that I placed another order. Except that this time I was having a lot of trouble with the thread knotting up, unraveling, and fraying. I had several orders to finish up and deliver before Christmas and no time to wait for another order to be delivered. So I got online and went through reviews again to see if I had missed something, anything. And I am so glad I did because I had in fact missed the main thing, which was to use the appropriate size needle for the thickness of the thread. This is a T-70 which requires either a size 16/100 or an 18/110. I was using the 16/100, which worked for the first couple of cones I ordered, but oddly didn't work for the third time around. Upon switching to a size 18/110, the very same cone that was giving me so much trouble was working without any problems, no unraveling, no knotting up, no fraying. I was able to finish up all my orders and keep using the thread with no incidents whatsoever. This thread is a great value for your money. It is super strong, and there is no way you are able to break it using your hands. With that being said, if it gets knotted it will most likely break the needle before the thread breaks off. that's how strong it is. So if you are having a problem with fraying and knotting I would check your needle size to make sure it is appropriate. Just because you used the same size tread from another brand with a specific needle size does not mean that you will be able to use it with this thread as well. I have sewn several bags with this thread and they are SUPER strong. I will update this review if I have any problems in the future but in the meantime, I am ordering more of this thread in different colors. I am very happy with it and I do recommend it!

Thick, strong thread
This thread is definitely heavy, and if your sewing machine and sewing needles aren't built for this, I advise hand sewing. The texture is smooth, so it'll glide. I noticed that it doesn't fray at the leather needle head like so many other threads do. The chocolate brown is pretty, and goes with a lot of colors of material. Overall good value for money, especially since there's a lot of thread. I am using this for my custom harness and although I haven't needed to have it hold my weight against gravity, I feel like this thread stitched right could actually do that.

Good as far as I can tell.
This is my first experience using #69 thread so I have nothing to compare with and can not comment on whether or not this actually is #69 thread as some other reviewers have. I had a project that involved sewing 500D Cordura nylon and #69 was the recommended thread type. I knew I would have to purchase in a larger quantity than I was going to need so I shopped for price, that’s why I purchased this specifically. Here’s my experience... I was using it to sew 500D Cordura Nylon and 12 oz. denim on a Janome home sewing machine using a size 16/100 needle. The thread consists of a twist of three strands. When cut the strands want to unravel unless you use VERY sharp scissors. This can make needle threading challenging. The thread is very tough; you won’t be “unsewing” by pulling seams apart, have your seam ripper handy. Sometimes the threads will “fuzz” when going through the eye of the needle and if the machine hasn’t jammed when you noticed it then it will unless you cut the thread and rethread the needle. The thread requires a MUCH higher tension setting than usual, definitely test on some scrap and adjust before beginning to work. I don’t believe this is a problem with my machine but a function of the thread; I could not do a tight zig zag (about 1 stitch length) without the machine jamming and making a bird’s nest on the underside. Wider zig zags were okay (about 2 1/2). That’s my experience. Would I buy this again? I just did, I needed another color for a new project. I’m giving it five stars because I don’t know any better not having had any other experience with #69 thread to compare this to.

Powerful
Still using this powerful thread today, repaired my pants better than the best thread brand of clothing maker. Even fixed my shoes and punching bag with it. Talk about durable and strength of material.

Seems durable so far
bought to make new seat covers on my golf cart and boat. So far few months in no real issues. broke a few times sewing but i was going through heavy marine vinyl with possibly not the correct needle in the machine.

Just Polyester thread for home sew
This is not B69 thread or T70. I have a commerical machine so i know. This is thin and more like home machine thread. I have been stuck with several spools because it's says B69 or T70 and it's not.Great thread if you want it for quilting or home sewing.

Looks good but the spool looks considerably smaller than the other 1500yard #69 threads I bought from another Supplier! The other plastic spools are all the same shape as this one, yet the quantity of thread is considerably more, not sure why..the thread itself looks just as thick as the other ones, so I wonder if it’s actually 15000yards or maybe just 1000?
