which ones do you use for sharpening lawn mower blades?

Type 27 is flat. Type 29 is bevelled. Either could be used to sharpen blades, depending on personal preference.36 or 40 grit is very aggressive for fast stock removal. No need to go any finer than that for mower blades.

Does this have the quick change nut on it?

These fit any 4.5" angle grinders with the standard lock nut, but they DON NOT have the X-Lock type "teeth" to interface with an X-Lock/Quick Change type angle grinder
