Perfect for a "wiring closet" job
Great to fasten "boxes" (modems, switches, amps, etc.) to a wiring closet.

Great idea but poorly executed
These are a nice idea but very poorly executed by On-Q. I went through ten of these and on half of them the tab broke that you put into the mounting plate. Installation is tricky without breaking these things. Given the price of over $35 for 20 of these things these are not a good deal which is extremely disappointing.

Too long and not adjustable on their plate
The ratchet clamps would have been perfect except for the fact it was too big for my network enclosure. To be fair, I have a very old one so it was shallow. I had to trim them down with a saw. Another issue was that the pegs on the bottom which attach to the plate only allow you to position it in 1 direction. This means that if you turned the mounting plate sideways (I had to in my case) it could only hold items left and right, not top and bottom for support.
