The only thing I feel I must warn you about is , whilst ironing and using steam, you have to be very careful not to have your free hand near the iron as the iron board cover is so good at its job it intensifies the heat of the steam and I have learned my lesson the hard way ! Don’t be put off by this though because the way it holds the heat is the reason I get the ironing done so quick & effortlessly. The 50% off deal was a fantastic bonus, bringing the price down to just £28.68—truly great value for money. If you’re looking for a premium ironing board cover that delivers on comfort and efficiency, I highly recommend this one!

Good quality but couldn’t find the right size for my ironing board, so had to fold the flat end over to make it fit. But pulled tight and clips help really well.

I have done a lot of ironing over my 60+ years and 7 strong family and this has to be the best ironing cover I have ever had. The choice of sizes let me get one that fitted properly. It was easy to put on and tension and the fabric tucked right under all the edges of the board for full coverage. I actually ironed out the packaging creases as i laid it loosely on before I tensioned it properly so I got a really smooth base. It crinkles as you fit it and a little bit as you iron but that is just the layer that I think might be the magic ingredient because boy, did it smooth out every wrinkle from my ironing! If you are going to iron, which I do, then having a quicker, higher quality finish is the way to go. ALL the wrinkles came out of my stuff and with no effort and no backwards and forwards. Looks like my garments have been pressed at a dry cleaners. I know I need to go get a life but really this is great!

I purchased this Super Soft 5 Layer Turbo Ironing Board Cover some 6 months ago, but have only just put it on my ironing board, which is a Brabantia with a standard metal mesh base surface. The board has given me over a decade of use and is still in top condition. This was the third time I have recovered it. I use a well known quality brand steam generating iron. I recognise many purchasers appear very happy with this cover, but I have safety concerns regarding steam burns. I don't intend to faf around returning it, and this review is to assist purchasers in their decision making. The cover is of good quality, and although it was a bit of a pain to fit with the pulling strings and straps, I have found after one use that the buckled surface has flattened well. The surface is described as steam reflective, presumably, to help prevent the problem of excess steam passing though the open board mesh and condensation dripping through, which does happen in ironing sessions with steam generator irons. I have countered this by putting a large beach towel over my carpet under the board which has caught any drips, and I wipe the metal board supports briefly when folding it up for storage behind a door. This has not been a major problem for me, but I felt the non reflective surface might help reduce this somewhat. I paid considerably over the odds for this cover, on the basis of the good reviews, and no one so far has mentioned any steam hazards, so maybe it's just me. My one attempt at using this cover on the board has not been positive. The reflection of the steam most certainly works effectively. So much so, in fact, that if I hadn't moved my face and hands away quickly I could have received an unpleasant burn initially. I cautiously proceeded with my ironing, but was subjected to such a steam bath that I abandoned it after 25 minutes. I never need to turn the temperature of my steam iron above the lowest setting which actually will generate steam, the "Wool" setting, and my iron has not suddenly started malfunctioning, so I must assume the reflective surface is the problem, for me anyway. I am short, just under 5 foot tall, and have lower back problems which make ironing much more comfortable if the board is at waist level. I'm presently sourcing another cover which boasts a thick felt pad to reduce the condensation problem, in the hope this will not reflect steam upwards so vigorously. There is nothing wrong with this cover, other than its over enthusiastic reflection upwards of steam, but please bear this in mind in relation to your own situation.

Good fit but needs cinching elastic to hold in place. Nice quality good thick material. Made ironing faster. Nice looking fabric with a pretty pattern. Good value for the quality.

My old cover got thinner and got ripped off. This is a good cover, fits great, thick and nice
