If you want to really give your fingers a workout, practice Kreutzer. It challenges your fingers and helps when playing other complicated passages.

I’ve been needing to practice violin more but I don’t have much material to practice so I got this book. If you are a beginner, take caution. Some of these pieces can be playable for beginners while others can be much more difficult. (For reference, although I am not an advanced violinist, I have been playing for 7 years.) I included a video to show an idea of the type of music in this book. Overall, I think that this is a good book to have.

I bought mine used but it was still in almost mint condition except for a little bit of writing including some that said it was last used in a 1972 lesson!!!!!! definitely a lot of work in this book, maybe not the funnest, but it will definitely help you improve and learn more. ie. position switching, playing on more than one string at a time, staccato, etc. very happy
