The covers were completely surrounded by styrofoam and the corners of the box were reinforced by extra cardboard. It was pretty easy to put together and set up, but if you want to secure it to concrete, you will need special tools. Review: Great Product - This company actually cares about the quality of their product and most importantly they care about what shape it arrives in when you receive it. It came in a heavy duty cardboard box. The product was bubble wrapped and then placed in a plastic sleeve. Then they used styrofoam AND a softer padding for further protection. But wait!!! There’s more!! They placed hard plastic corner pieces at each corner for FURTHER protection. Then they give you gloves so you don’t cut yourself when assembling the cover. Who does THAT?? It’s absolutely beautiful. I had a little trouble with their assembly instructions. It appeared to me that the “corner angle” pieces provided were not for my model??? But they encourage you to call if you have questions and they have videos too. I also had to think outside the box (no pun intended) to fasten the top piece to the sides in the back where the open side is. My fix worked just fine.
