I got them as a birthday gift for my son who was turning 6. Within a couple of weeks of using them, they turned up with one of the eye pieces broken off. I was probably still within in the return window, but I procrastinated on attempting that. They sat on the kitchen counter for a while (okay, a few months), and one of the kids would pick them up now and then. One day recently they appeared to be put back together, and my son said his dad glued them. My husband had in fact not done so, but they were holding together somehow. That did not last long, however, and today they turned up like these photos--both eye pieces now broken off. I'm so tired of buying poorly made toys and gifts for my kids. It's happened more times than I can count in the last year. When they say "for kids of all ages," you figure they should be able to withstand being dropped, because it's almost guaranteed kids will do just that. He loves them, but as it's cold as Antarctica here, he hasn't used them outside and so they haven't been on many adventures. Meaning he hasn't had much of a chance to break them yet. So we'll wait and see how long they last...Otherwise, they look tough, come in a fabric case, and can be adjusted to your face size and eyesight just like the professional ones.
