Excellent sounds (mic and headphones) and very good comfort
I had a specific need: What's a headset I can recommend to my overseas coworkers (some who mumble with thick accents) that has a VERY clear mic, good headphone sound quality, works as USB-A or old-school headphone miniplug, and all-day comfort... and under $60. We have a winner! I would say this has an EXCELLENT mic (the best I've tested), very good comfort, and very good headphones. I also have Sony studio headphones (no mic), and I am an audiophile who could bore you with the details of why those are better for recording, music, etc. But these Corsairs will give anyone audio listening enjoyment. I'm relatively picky about this, but I do know that for 90% of listeners, these sound good enough to be their only music headphones and they wouldn't tell any difference with my Sony's. Alternatives I looked at: The Logitech H390a is a cheapy, with a very clear, VERY bright (perhaps overly bright for many speakers, but this is a fabulous solution for mumblers) microphone, but stiff headphone pads on the ears. I did a 1-hour call with them, and it was okay... but I wouldn't want them for 3 hours in a row. The SteelSeries Artic Nova 1P - I wanted to love these, comfy, great headphones, but the mic is a little muffled, especially when too close to the mouth. But yeah, nowhere near the mic quality of this one. I dropped a whopping $160 on the Jabra Evolve2 65 - and everyone should know this: 95% of the WIRELESS headsets out there are going to have very poor audio from the bluetooth for the mic. I returned these when I found out. Wanted to love them for their comfort and headphone quality, but the lack of high-frequencies in the mic is a total deal breaker for me. If you want the most UNDERSTANDABLE audio quality for work calls, this Corsair set is the best I've found! Better than the apple wired set. (which was my previous gold standard, but certainly picks up way more environmental noise.)

Flawless, way better than the s55 pair
A while back I had a pair of Corsair headphones I think they were the s55, cause these are the s65's, however the pair I had broke in the worst way, the earphones on my old pair had plastic joints on the headband and they cracked right off 😭. Could no longer put them on my head, sounded great and looked very similar to these but quality and durability was rather poor, these are perfect, they looked a lot like the old pair I had with a few minor differences, but when I looked closer and ran my fingers across the joints, turns out the joints are the same shape as my old ones, but looks like Corsair reinforced them with some metal, the joints you can tell are metal 👌💪👍 cause they have a glossy texture, not like matt plastic, and they get colder when you let them sit like metal does, just seeing this little detail was like icing on the cake, not to metion for a chat mic, the clarity is unbelievable as are the phones, nice ballanced tone for listening to music and 7.1 virtual surround is wonderful for gaming, as it has an advantage to pick up on directional audio in video games very nicely. Pair it with Dolby Atmos and it's even better too. Highly recommend these headphones, I managed to pick up my pair on sale, for me worth every penny.

Almost perfect, quality constuction needs improvement
Ok, the MSRP of this headphones is 70 USD, but is common to see in 50 or even 40, so if you bought this for that price is excellent, is not better gaming headset under 50 USD, has a really good sound quality and the micro is outstading, maybe i never gonna have another headset with this micro quality, is way too much micro that the hyperx cloud III (no hate, only a comparison point) and feels really confortable even for people with big heads and presciption glasses like me and the auto EQ Sound ID is amazing, really gives you a sound for your taste, so anything looks perfect, yep, except for the quality construncion. And dont take me wrong, feels really solid, but the ear pads are really bad, you will need change in the future (1>year) due to the bad glue, and that is 15 USD more to the price and also the plastic headband becomes rigid so is easier to broke, also the micro is really good but is some quiet so you will need so increase the gain level.

I am very impressed
For the price I do not think you could do better. Crisp clear sound and it improves when you install the icue software and add your plugins for sound drivers. Mine installed Nvidia and gigabyte plugins. Takes a few minutes to get it set up for your hearing. I am a bit hard of hearing due to my job. I now hear things in game I never could hear before. The ear muff's are very comfortable memory foam that do not put pressure on your ear at all true over the ear. I would say not the lightest set but not extremely heavy still very comfortable. Spatial sound is also compatible for Windows 10 and above users. Mic quality is really good and clear several noise cancelling options to adjust. Everyone on discord was really impressed with the clear mic once it was turned in. Once you get it set you will be impressed. I did experience some static one time performed a reboot and it never came back. This set does require a high power USB port if you use the provided dongle. I would recommend 3.0 USB port better. No lights or flashy things like other gaming headsets for the younger generation. This set does come with a voice synthesizer to download a few free ones and a few free sound effects to play with. I like the build quality so far they feel very well built.

Amazing Sound!!
Just got them today, and I am more than pleased. The in-game audio as in footsteps and things like that, hearing enemies around corners as they come up to you is spot on. The overall sound and quality of the headphones are great, the comfort is A1 and I feel I got my moneys worth. My last headset was a logitech G335 and the audio jack broke on it and these sky rocket past those headphones in comparison. 10/10 would reccomend.

Best Budget Headset on the market.
I'm a bit of an Audiophile but I've got a very limited budget these days. Gotta love that greedflation. My Hyperx Cloud2's have seen better days and I've never really enjoyed how uncomfortable they were. The only good thing the cloud2's had going for them were the sound quality for the price but even that is very outdated at this point in time. In terms of audio quality I'll say they are definitely better than the Cloud2's, Kraken and Blacksharks. But in no way are they professional monitors. It's a $50 gaming headset and you get what you pay for where as with other brands at the same price point I feel like they sell you short. The surround is actually very good, doesn't sound flat or gimmicky like the other headsets and the iCUE software comes with it's own EQ that you can adjust for personal taste. It has multiple sound profiles as well if that's something you're into. On these specifically I like to boost 0-250hz and 1k-8k by 2db. It just makes it sound a bit clearer and present. The thing that stood out to me the most was actually how clearly I can tell both direction and distance of footsteps in games. Where the Cloud2's would just tell me it's coming from left or right, with these I can actually tell if it's above, below, how far etc. And on the surround setting it's even clearer. I'm 6'2 so these fit VERY snug out of the box but after some usage it will start to give in and be more comfortable. I definitely prefer these over the Clouds in terms of comfort as well (after breaking them in). **Update** The cable is NOT shielded against static electricity. I live in a high altitude and got full carpet so sometimes when I pick up the headset the static electricity will cause it to glitch and you need to replug the usb. Not a big hassle for me personally but something to keep in mind.

Pay wall headphones
I got these because I tried a different brand and they gave me massive headaches with my glasses. Tried to match sound quality and it looked like a better mic (those FiFines is amazing). I was wrong. And highly disappointed. I thought with the software downloaded and presets I would be happier with the sound in game quality... I could hear footsteps and everything in game with Fifine just their clamp was too much with glasses. But no. The corsairs sound was worse the presets flipped through a few didn't help it, and you can not fine tune WITHOUT A PAID SUBSCRIPTION. I am sorry, if I am paying even on sale $50 bucks like let me use them to their full features. The mic quality is better than Fifine (minisculy marginally) sound is much better for shooters with FIfine. After about mm.. 1hr. 30 to two hours these light clamp headaches I need breaks between. Honestly if you don't wear glasses and play shooters get Fifine they are cheaper and honest better than this. Imagine paying $70 for these. They are okay at $50 but if it was $70 still? Disappointing. Tried them out for a week..see if clamp got better it did a bit.. but still breaks and the flip to mute to mic function is quite annoying as it has to be pressed all the way up to click into place to mute. You need the software to get full use of these, and even the software they put being a pay wall. For the money I just got hyperx cloud 3's I can fifine tune and the sound quality is so much better than this. Paying more upfront but not subscription headphones, and in general much better mic and sound quality. No real breaks needed with my glasses between long gaming sessions with the Hyperx cloud 3's. I got them in and day one am returning these headphones. Along with actual mute button and bendable microphone on the clouds. In conclusion. You wear glasses. Hyperx cloud 3 and just pay more upfront for comfort and being able to find tune the sound (even their presets are better than Corsairs (I went through all of them) and their "personalized sound id". If you don't wear glasses or do not play for long periods of time. Fifine were absolutely amazing and much better than this. And cheaper. I only see these maybe better if you played... Idk...not shooters I guess. Even then, idk.

My sis is very happy
After thoroughly searching for a better alternative headset from my sister's Arctis 1, I finally found a great gaming headset with the help of HardwareCanucks' review on the HS65. Comfort is astounding and she adapted to them very quickly with the earpad contact made of fabric than leatherette. Having a comfortable fit while having great sound isolation with the outer leather earpads and it is very glasses-friendly. The microphone sounds incredible for its price (I purchased it during a sale for $39.99). Vocal clarity is astounding, one of the best-sounding gaming mics at this price range (~$70). However, noise suppression is on the downside as typing on a keyboard easily picks up and overall volume is too quiet but thanks to ICUE software, there is a mic boost setting to increase input sound. Technology is evolving as the SoundID Technology in the software is amazing to use to find that perfect EQ profile that sounds best for your ears. I think my only problem with these is the overall size of the drivers. They don't look like they would fit for people that have bigger ears. Also, there is some clamping force out of the box, but thanks to a metal headband, stretching it out makes it easier to wear down. This is definitely worth getting, even when it's on sale. Highly recommend 10/10

Audio issues on arrival, sounds bad but good mic
The only thing I liked was the mic and comfort, sounded very good and if you want a headset for the mic alone this is one of the best for this price range. Comfort was fine too wasn't too bad wasn't amazing. However that's about all that's positive, firstly one earcup was much less audible than the other. But even if that wasn't the case the sound was bad. There was too much base and in games, it hurt and sounded muffled making it especially hard to track footsteps in games like valorant. The music was bad but not the worst. SoundID was terrible every time I would do the test it would distort the sounds and create a painful noise which sounded like one of those base-boosted meme songs and that hurt my ear badly. Overall even tho my product seems like a defect I still wouldn't go for this headset if you care about audio quality.

Aí fica difícil Corsair, me ajuda a te ajudar.
