I like many Cyclist fell for the Siren Song of more efficient pedal strokes, and the dreaded idea of lost efficiency. I however, do mainly long distance touring and commuting, so I am not looking for speed. I could not bring myself to pull the trigger on shoes, pedals, and adjustments of clipless riding (you know, click in shoes). I thought about it and said that these kind of straps should be a good approximation of clipless, so $10 later I gave them a try. The Good: They install and adjust easily Hold foot tight to pedals The Bad: If too loose the Velcro straps edge can fray from wear (not really a problem since you are looking for a good fit and that is a matter of taste. Also, two sets, so you got a backup). I gave them the old college try. Once you get used to getting your feet in the straps (flip in by rotating the pedal), they work good. You can get a good back lift and rotate over the top efficiently (if you are so inclined to focus on your pedal stroke that much). They were good for what they are designed for. That said, I had to get these things off. I found I wasn't using them, and they just hung there under my pedals scraping the ground, because like I said before I think I don't want to ride clipless. In touring, you stop often, take pictures and get off the bike. These straps were just one more thing to pay attention to in addition to map, mileage, direction, finding a good camping spot. So, I let the lost efficiency stay that way, Lost. If you want to know if you want to go clipless without an outlay of hundreds of dollars, try using these straps.

Comes in 2 pairs, total 4 Black, Velcro Easy to install on the pedals. Velcro makes it easy to change and also adjust.

The straps are fine but too big for a toddler tricycle and is not compatible with that type of pedal. They were returned.

Threw these on a cheap fixie just so I could strap in. Bad decision. The Velcro on these straps is sub par at best and if you ever a your some pressure on the straps the Velcro will come undone. Save yourself the trouble and buy some real straps.

So useful for kids learning to ride a bike. They fit nicely into my 4 year old's bike. Durable, comfortable, and perfect for what we need. Easy to put on and they've stayed on.

Poorly made. Arrived coming apart at the stitching. I purchased for my son's bike and the straps adjusted down to the smallest size were still way too big for a kid as advertised

They were a bit too small for me and the straps we not 100% stitched on. the edges were sticking up and felt like the string used to stitch it on would break at any moment .
