WGGE WG-013 Wire Stripper and Cutter 7'',Cuts, strips wire and loops 10-20 AWG Solid and (0.8-2.6mm) Stranded

This is not the first time I've ordered these. As a professional electrician I wear out a pair about every year to 2 years. They're a great product at a good price they last as long or longer than any other brand I've tried.

I have been a Journeyman Electrician since 1980 and I have used several types and different brand names of wire strippers over the years. I had settled on Klein and Greenlee as being the most comfortable as well as versatile and constructed so they would last. The time had come to get a new pair and as I was looking for my normal set I noticed these and decided to give them a try. Much to my surprise once they arrived I decided to see how well the screw cutters worked, as this will usually kill a poorly made set. Cut through 6-32 and 8-32 with no problem the screws started into the boxes they would be used for with no problem too. Used them on the job for a while now on both solid and stranded wire and have not regretted the purchase once.

If you have an occasional project, get the WGGE wire stripper. I keep them at home for small personal projects like installing speakers. They are relatively sturdy and the grips are better than I expected. They are a great value. I would be comfortable lending them to a friend or neighbor. If you are planning on using them everyday or you have a large project, spend the extra money on Klein. I use Klein at work and on larger home projects. They are very high quality and last for years of constant use.

Been using this for over a year now and it has worked perfectly each time. My only complaint is that sometimes the locking switch will accidentally unlatch, but that’s a minor issue.

Haven't really used yet but they are an exact duplicate of my Craftsman wire strippers which I truly loved (the Craftsman were able to handle the live wire and proceeded to get part of them burned off). Had them for a long time and expect same service out of these.

My mistake actually, but these only go down to 20 AWG. They won't strip the wires for your Arduino and Pi projects. They look like precision strippers on line but they arent so precise up close. As they were cheap, I'll keep them for stripping automotive wires etc.
