TONYMOLY Gel Eyeliner

Love love love this item. For the usual day to day, I like a low-key, light, smudgy eye liner look. However, once in a while for a "mom's nite out" I like to amp up the eye liner. Generally I use pencil eye liner for the everyday use and have some liquid eye liner for the nites out. However, I have oily skin so not sure if that has something to do with the fact that my eye liner NEVER looks visible once I'm outside in the sunlight. Also, lately I tend to tear a lot due to some eye surgery. But not only does the brush applicator allow the flexibility for a softer, smoky, smudgy look but you can also create the finer, cat-eye look. But even more so, it shows up and stays on despite tears! But with a simple Estee Lauder eye liner remover, it also comes off easily. This product worked so well for me, I bought the 2nd color!

I used this years ago but tried many different products for fun since then and I'm glad I started using this one again because it's so easy to apply. My eyes get watery throughout the day and my eyeliner still stays on; it doesn't come off like the other eyeliners I've tried. Got mine in brown and I love the pigment. I remembered this lasted me a while back then; will likely be repurchasing!

Favorite gel liner!! Only need a small amount to get a line and the brush is precise. Using the brown color and it has the perfect tone for my eyes, not being too dark and too light. Stays on all day! Just put a light amount and it won't smudge onto your upper lids. Easy to wipe off. I've been using this product for years!!

I've been trying to use this product for a while now and it's very easy to learn how to do eyeliner with this stuff. The included tapered brush is small and a little soft, so it isn't harsh on sensitive eyes. It's worth 4 stars because it's a little bulky and hard to clean the brush. If you use the brush for liner, you'll have to clean it soon or else it'll stiffen. It lasts all day long and it comes off easily enough with a few swipes of makeup remover so that isn't a problem.

So I typically have always hated gel eyeliner, but I wanted to try again after a decade and saw a good review for this online. Loved the cap too. The cap is amazing and super useful for the moments you need to set your liner down. Pigment is gorgeous, and goes on smooth and soft. It's a steal for the price honestly. It's changed me from a hater to a lover of gel eyeliner with how easy it is. I DID struggle the first use, but realized during the second use it was much easier because the brush had tapered itself with the remnants of the first session. Overall this is fantastic and I would definitely recommend it for beginners to gel and eyeliner in general!

I received the Tony Moly eyeliner gel today. It came in a plastic zip lock bag, with the lid removed. It's fine since it is in a zip lock bag and no smear or spillage since it's gel. What I am disappointed is that the brush that supposed to come with it, is missing. How am I suppose to use it ? What I don't understand is why sellers don't check the items before sending ? If sellers wants customer to give 5 stars then PLS check the items to see if there is any defects or any missing part, before mailing out. The product is pretty good since it doesn't smudge, need to let it dry. It's pretty pigmented. That jar can last for some time. Since the brush is missing, the product is expensive, that's how I think. I do not wish to return, cuz it's such a hassle. That's why I give only 3 stars. However, If you can send me the brush, you can get a 5 star !

I love this gel eyeliner. It's not harsh and doesn't cause any irritation to me eyes. It dries fairly quick and doesn't run.

TONYMOLY Backstage Gel Eyeliner #3 Pearl Brown finally arrived. I was so excited that I immediately unpacked it, ran to the bathroom and applied it! The eyeliner came in this neat "bottle?" for want of a better word. But it was really more a container of sorts. The bottom was a small pot that held the eyeliner and the long top was the brush or applicator which just slipped into a stem. So there is actually two pieces that fit together as one. Really nifty way to keep separate items together. The color of the eyeliner, Pearl Brown, is absolutely beautiful and complimented my brown eyes and unlike black eyeliner, it was not harsh looking. Amazing, I thought to myself, so amazing. But........about thirty minutes later I had to go potty so I sneaked a peek in my mirror and there this supposedly long-lasting eyeliner had almost completely disappeared. There was just a hint that something had been applied but nothing substantial, not even a definite smudge. I admit, I do have deep set eyes but I have never had eyeliner up and disappear in less than thirty minutes, even the cheap stuff. Tried it again, making sure my eyelids were clean, free of sweat, oil or other substances and keeping my fingers crossed checked it out in twenty minutes and "darn it" the eyeliner was gone, gone, gone! Too bad it didn't stay on as long as it took to get it after placing the order. Perhaps there is a secret way to apply this eyeliner and that is why there is so many rave reviews, I don't know, don't care, it was cheap and the only thing I have of substance invested in it is the time it took to get to me, so I have not contacted the seller. There was a couple of inserts in the package, and I assume it was product but the writing on them was Korean or something oriental so I wasn't sure exactly what it was or how to use it. It just seems odd to me that they would not use English when they ship the product to the United States, particularly if they are using the samples as advertising. I was game, just couldn't read the information. So back to the eyeliner, as I said I do have deep set eyes and I have read (I think) that one needs to set a product with powder? But here's the thing, I also have contact lens implanted in my eyes. So using powder to set eyeliner may mean that there is a chance that I could damage the lens implants by getting powder on them so I was unwilling to do that, my contacts cost far more than the eyeliner and I am not eager to replace them. In summary, I liked the way the eyeliner was put together, By that I mean the construction of the container. It was cute and innovative, at least to me. It is a way of preventing loss and having to look for the applicator, while maintaining an interesting shape. The soft brown color was amazing. It was dark enough to compliment the eyes without being too harsh. The eyeliner was very easy to apply, and I did not experience any adverse effects from it. But the proof of the pudding was a complete bust. Both times I applied it, the eyeliner was almost completely gone in less than thirty minutes! Because there is so much to like about this eyeliner I really want to give it a great review, I do, but in order to do that it has to work like it is advertised to do but it just didn'! happen for me. As I may have mentioned earlier, it took forever to arrive. I am not sure how many days it was but I am used to Amazon's quick delivery so after a week I began to worry over it. When the product did arrive it was in a beat up cardboard box that had seen better days, but perhaps the long distance was more than a small box could endure. For the money I would say it isn't a huge investment and perhaps other consumers would have better luck with it than I did. Had it cost ten dollars or more I would advise consumers to keep their money. It all depends on how bad you want to take a chance. I am just glad I had no more than five dollars invested in this product. So I won't say I wouldn't recommend it, I think you have to weigh the risks of my experience, and the very low cost of the product against the overwhelming positive reviews of this product and your desire to find just the right eyeliner for yourself. Es hasta el momento el mejor delineador en gel, dura mucho aún cuando hace calor y no se ve como derretido, es un color negro intenso y si sientes que la brochita se hace dura solo con un algodón y agua micelar vuelve a quedar como nuevo, yo lo amo!!!
