Absolutely loved this book. There's an overwhelming amount of information to be found across the internet and this book did a great job of consolidating important points into a digestible overview. I highly recommend this book for new parents at any stage! It makes something that can be extremely overwhelming feel a lot less daunting.

This book was recommended to me As a pediatric nurse for 48 years; a mother of 3 and grandmother of six, there is always something new to learn about pregnancy, labor and newborn parenting. Newborn 101, addresses both the medical and emotional aspects of pregnancy. It provides solid information and evidence-based advice but the calm and informative tone of this book encourages parents to make their own informed choice Throughout the well-written text are sidebars with relevant information, because in some situations what works for one baby doesn't always work for another.

First time I experienced this from Amazon! I ordered a new book and it came with a huge, noticeable black mark on the front cover of the book.

The book is very well written; with vivid and logic language used to provide a comprehensive and helpful instruction for taking care of new born. Highly recommended!

This book truly has EVERYTHING!! From pregnancy, labour, safety, post partum newborn care, EVERYTHING!! ALL my questions were answered by this book. I keep a highlighter, pen, and small sticky page markers for the important stuff to go back to when I need to. Plus my fiance isn't much of a reader..honestly he hates it, he just cannot stay focused on a book. I found hy highlighting and marking the more important stuff or marking an entire section he needed to read...he did a lot better at going through that and actually retaining the information he needed to. Just a tipfor any women with men like mine. It truly worked great. Remember ladies, not everyone is book reader and some just arent CAPABLE of doing so and benefiting from it. That doesn't mean he isn't interested or doesn't want to learn. Find a solution and compromise. This worked well for us, so give it a try!! Anyways, I'm so happy I bought this book. It truly holds SO MUCH KNOWLEDGE!!

Im giving 3 stars only because half the book is about pregnancy, labor and delivery. I already own other pregnancy books and was looking for a book about taking care of a baby, not pregnancy and labor. I also hoped there would be more pictures like how to swaddle etc. Nevertheless, for first time moms it's a good informative book.

This book is a great reference for parents/caregivers. It covers some of the leading concerns/questions about the timeframe leading up to delivery, the first few days of newborn life, as well as some of the major milestones encountered in the first year.

Hands down best book ever. I am 7 months pregnant and this book has helped me out & gotten me prepared SO much!! I have recommended it to all of my expecting friends & definitely would recommend purchasing !!
