It's very easy to clean, I don't have a dish washer but I wouldn't recommend a dishwasher. The mesh feels too delicate for a the harsh steam of the dishwasher. It arrived in perfect condition. The metal gets hot but not enough to burn yourself. I don't know why people are complaining that it gets hot after you pour water, you can literally use a towel and you'll be fine. I've been using it for a month and there is no rust. But it's great 👍🏼 I recommend it.
