1/16 Farmall Super M Narrow Front with FFA Logo 44269

I bought this as a Christmas gift for a family friend who's a huge fan of vintage tractors and farm implements, particularly International Harvester models from the 50s. He absolutely loves it! It's a hefty piece, weighing in at just under two pounds, and with the exception of a couple small plastic bits, it's almost entirely made of diecast metal and rubber. The front axle can be steered by turning the wheel left or right, a neat touch that wasn't immediately obvious. Despite "only" measuring eight inches long and five inches across the rear tires, it has quite a bit of shelf presence. The only obvious flaw is the rather large seam running down the middle of the tractor, though I imagine it wouldn't be too hard to fix, assuming one is willing to perform surgery on a rather expensive collectible.

Well made and detailed metal tractor. Value for the money. Plus it has the FFA endorsement.

I’m not generally a person who buys castmetal models but when I was a child my grandfather had a formal M tractor. I was very pleased with the detail that was included in the model, small features that I wasn’t expecting to see. The built quality was excellent and the display box is perfect.

Wanted a Super M to add to my cabinet since they hold good memories from my youth. This was priced well and very nice looking for the the cost. Good detail on the model.

My father was a design engineer for International. A few generations later - each child receives a keepsake for their shelf of honour. Not five stars -- because the box it came in was cut in three places. Why? The idea is to have NEW IN BOX. Untouched heirloom. That is important.
