Glazing is beautifully layered in 2 tones and the ceramic base is visible towards the bottom. Although the cup does react to temperatures I found it easy to manage with the placement of my palm underneath the base. To the seller, I appreciate your professional and prompt messages as well as the care you took in packaging this item.
