Well worth the price!! Delivery was ahead of schedule.Everything lined up perfect, lumber was in great shape, I pre drilled anything that was not already done and had very minimal splitting that was not own fault. It took most of a Saturday with 3 to 4 fairly handy guys casually building about 10 hours with a few breaks. Instructions are pretty decent some spots are very easy-to-use install backwards of not paying attention to pilot holes. If I could grade quality and fitment better than 5 I would.

My husband is very ambitious when he bought this large swing set for the kiddos. It arrived earlier than expected, and the shipping company had good communication and careful, which is a really nice bonus. Husband is very handy and took him two, full days to organize and assemble. There were some quality issues with the wood splitting when setting due to how dry it was, and the plastic telescope was broken during shipment. I will reach out to the company to replace. It’s a great looking set, and the kids really enjoy playing on it. The only thing we noticed is that when a child uses the ladder from level 2 to 3 (or vice-versa), there is a large window right there of the left, and someone could fall out (red circle). We decided to buy additional cedar to close more of that space for their safety.

Grand baby loves this (3yo). It took three adults about a day and a half to assemble It’s well built and very sturdy. The assembly app is a huge help don’t try to skip using it. Our toddler and his neighborhood friends have already had hours of fun on this thing!

It is an absolutely beautiful addition to the backyard. I have had it a year. Some of the boards are beginning to split. We made sure to weather proof it when we assembled it. We did it as a team of three dads. We tighten everything up every week or so.

I worked on this about 4 hours each day. It has taken about two weeks to assemble. First note is the entrance to first level. It is getting cut off. I have hit my back more times than I can count. Structurally it serves no purpose. I suggest they redesign this section. Great for little kids; not so much for adults. You know the kids will want you to climb up!! I am not crazy about the posts stacking on one another. I will be buying brackets to reinforce. I think the directions could have been written clearer. For example: do the label numbers go in or out or doesn’t it matter. Putting the floor down was a challenge to get the bracket for center post to line up. When putting on slats for railing, who measures from bottom up? I measured from top down once I knew how much. Long review I know. Being a woman I laid everything out, read the directions carefully, looked ahead in book, I can’t see a man doing that!! Ha ha ha. Yes that’s stereotypical. I would suggest leveling your ground first. I jumped right in and feel it was a mistake. Overall I give the directions a B+. Diagrams need to be clearer. Good luck!! Have fun!! I would buy this again, now I know how to assemble!!

This is an outstanding playset. It took about 4 days to assemble, working about 4-5 hrs per day. Follow the instructions and you will do fine. Boards were all marked, per instructions, except maybe two, but they were reasonably easy to back into what they should be. Instructions include diagrams of the boards. I assembled the whole thing myself, with a little help raising the swing beam and attaching it to the tower. If you have difficulty following instructions, then its probably best to hire someone to assemble it for you. I dinged one star because I felt the wood quality was, at times, below my expectations. In some cases, the boards could stand to be about 1/2" thicker. What should be 4x4s were 3x3s, etc. I may go back and make some of the boards thicker with brown treated wood. Roofing was nice though, and I do want to call out the hardware - it was especially good quality - nice layer of paint and galvanized hardware. After assembling, when walking on the floors or swinging, it really squeaked at first, but that has mostly gone away after a couple of weeks and some rain storms. I think it would be a good idea to check tightness of the hardware a couple of weeks after assembly.

Overall this swing set is great! It came in so many pieces, but they have an easy instructional manual that shows you on your phone what the steps are. It’s very sturdy. Our kids play on it daily. My husband has even sat on the swings and it held him.

This is a great playset. Beyond that the customer support at Backyard Discovery is fantastic. We had a problem with a part and they wasted no time in replacing the item immediately. Would absolutely buy more of thier stuff.
