This is the BEST Hand Feeding formula ever!
I used to use another brand of bird handfeeding...But when I sgtarted using this I will never buy the other brand again..This is so good...mixes very easily..my baby parrots do excellent on it...Nice weight gain. Try it and you will never switch back to the "other" hand feed formula.

Air freshener or bird formula?
It did keep my chicks alive, but it smells like a car air freshener. I tried 4 brands of formula this spring to see which one kept my chicks the most plump after pulling them from the nest. Hands down Hagen tropican formula did the best. This formula was right there with kaytee exact as far as how plump it kept my chicks and it smells like an air freshener which turned my nose. I tried four brands because using the exact formula I would always notice that my chicks would slim down after pulling them from the nest. I used 4 chicks all the same age and fed them the same just used a different brand for each one. I had high hopes for the cost, branding, and being specific to conures/smaller parrots. While it did the job, it did not meet my expectations, it did not keep them the most plump, and it smells something I’d wash my car with or spray in a bathroom.
