Unscented Dishwasher Pods by AspenClean, Dye-Free, Zero Plastic, EWG Verified™, Vegan, Eco-Friendly, Natural Dishwasher Detergent - 28 Count

I’ve been trying to swap out harsher cleaning products where I can, and these Unscented Dishwasher Pods by AspenClean have been such a solid find. I love that they’re completely unscented—no fake “clean” smell left behind. They clean really well, even with everyday messes, and I haven’t noticed any cloudy residue on glassware. I also appreciate that they’re dye-free, zero plastic, vegan, and eco-friendly, so I don’t feel guilty tossing one in the dishwasher every night. If you’re trying to make more low-toxic swaps at home but still want something that actually works, these pods are a great option. Simple, effective, and feels good to use—definitely a repeat buy for our house.

I have been gradually switching out all of our beauty/cleaning products with "cleaner" products and dishwasher detergent was next on my list. It is ewg verified which means no hidden ingredients - excellent start. My first purchase arrived and when I opened the Amazon packaging, the lid was off and all the pods were loose in the bag. I went thru that first container and have been very happy with the results so I decided to subscribe. My second order of these arrived and the container only had 4 pods in it! The Amazon packaging was well sealed, so either somebody swiped 24 pods and then returned an almost empty package OR someone in Amazon swiped them. Either way, based on these two experiences, I would suggest that this company may need to find a better way to seal their containers so they are more secure/tamper proof. The replacement order for the second one with only 4 pods in it arrived in perfect condition with all pods in tact. I will continue to use unless there are consistently issues with not receiving the correct amount of pods.

My favorite thing about these dishwasher pods are that they are EWG verified. Do they work any better than the non-verified products? I honestly don't know. But they certainly work just as well and without all the toxic chemicals. During a time when our nation is beginning to become aware of the dangers of all the toxic chemicals in our food supply, cleaning products, and even in our clothes, it's nice to have options. I'd love to give these dishwasher pods five stars, however, two of the last six containers we've received in our Subscribe and Save have come with a few broken pods in the container. It's not just messy, but it's wasteful. We aren't getting all we paid for. It hasn't stopped us from purchasing them, though, and it shouldn't stop you from giving them a try if you are looking for a healthier way to clean your dishes at home.

This is the 2nd container I have ordered. I like that they are free of bad chemicals and plastic. The scent is ok. No film left on the dishes, but I also use a rinse aid. I’ve had to rewash my dishes twice now once due to food being left on a few pots & stains on baking pans. This second container had a pod bust in shipping, so there was detergent all over the pods. Disappointing considering the cost. Overall, they clean ok. I haven’t tried any other “natural” dishwasher pods to able to compare, but likely will after this container is gone. Didn’t clean as well as “unclean/chemical” versions like Finish or Cascade.

I stopped using non eco-friendly dishwasher detergent years ago. I have tried many eco-friendly ones, and I ALWAYS count packaging in my choice. I will not buy plastic bags or big plastic tubs of even the most eco-friendly product. And until recently I was happy with Seventh Generation powder, the boxed version. But in the newest batch I was using, I had increasing problems with dishes coming clean and also a residue left on dishes. I was about to get a new washer, but instead looked into alternate detergents. I am now trying two--AspenClean and Dropps. Environmental Working Group rates Aspen more highly than Dropps. I am finding so far that both work very well. Dishes feel clean, no food residue, easy to use. AspenClean is kind of pricey but I'm willing to pay more to keep noxious chemicals out of the environment. If my evaluation changes as time goes on, I will update this review.

Do NOT buy. The product arrived with the majority of its 28 pods empty/half empty/broken apart. The container was filled with loose powder, which defeats the purpose of buying pods. No comment on how it cleans as I tossed this mess into the garbage. Save yourself money and do not buy this brand of dishwasher pods. Will search for a different clean/non-toxic product that has figured out its packaging.

I tried 3 different brands of clean dishwasher tabs and this one won out. The other 2 left a white film on my dishes and this one did not! I have hard water so I need the best but I don't want the harmful products. I like unscented, I'm not big into scented cleaning products, the best clean to me is nothing. These are easy to use and I like the packaging, first it's paper packaging and I don't need to buy a container and I don't get a box of powder instead of tabs like other brands. You won't be sorry you tried it!

Best clean and nontoxic dishwasher pods we’ve used! We tried so many and were unhappy with their efficiency, smell or both. But the aspen pods are great! They clean well, don’t leave any residue, and don’t smell strange.

100% vegan formula 99.6% of the total ingredient are from natural origin. Reviewing this product after couple of uses, I am really impressed with the results doesn’t leave any residue and any smell. Clean and EWG verified. I like the packaging which is 100% recycled paper. I recommend this product if you are concerned about harmful chemicals then this is the best product for dishwashing.

A household favourite! We have tried many other pods and these are the best. Cleans very well even with our water which is on the harder side and dishwasher loads that are always over flowing. No residue after washing! Please note we do wash on the prowash setting.

Love this brand and these pods. My go to soap - however...this order came with all the pods in the sealed container broken. Sent seller email with my concern. No reply. Not sure if they were damaged in shipping, they froze in the vehicle during delivery or they are old and fell apart.

Great product I’ve been using for a while but the pods came and half of them were open. Very dissapointing
