Great for entry level astronomers
Amazing eye piece for the price. This is a very useful item to purchase if you are getting into astronomy as it basically doubles the amount of lenses you have in your inventory by just adding this piece on top. It is amazing quality, perfect size, and there is minimal loss in clarity for the everyday user. If you plan on getting into professional astronomy, this piece may need to be replaced in the near future, but overall it is an amazing piece!

Good Value and Excellent Quality
Exactly what I was hoping for! 2x Barlow arrived in perfect condition, was easy to “install,” and dramatically enhanced the quality of my entire experience. I purchased this in a bundle with the Celestron Zoom Eyepiece, and I would recommend the combination to any “amateur astronomer” and/or curious adult with or without an even more curious child. The 2x Barlow and Celestron Zoom Eyepiece makes for a much more efficient experience that dramatically improved the odds of my zeroing-in on some of the more amazing things in our sky that tend to cause more than one spontaneous “wow.” I did my research enough to know this was a quality item at a very good price. I’m not saying there aren’t better options out there for certain people, but this has met and exceeded all of my expectations. It turns out that staring at the night sky with my son is one of the great gifts I’ve been able to harness out of the crazy quarantined would of today. I am very very happy with this purchase!

Perfect
Got this as a gift for my husband and he absolutely loves it. It works perfectly. Arrived in perfect condition just as described. Crystal clear clarity. Well constructed as one would expect. It is a great value. He was so excited to add it go his collection. Completely happy with this purchase.

Works well for what it is
While this is not the best barlow on the market, it certainly does the job well on a Celestron NexStar 127SLT. I've paired it with an Orion 15mm Ultra Flat Field eyepiece and a Celestron Ultima Edge 10mm Flat Field eyepiece with good results. Viewing is nice and sharp especially on planets. It is medium priced and does a good job.

Great beginner add-on for my son's telescope
I don’t know much about Barlow lenses myself, but this one was recommended as a beginner add-on for my son’s telescope, and he seems to really enjoy it. Being Celestron, I trust the quality, and it works well for his needs!

Great Quality/Price/Value way to get 6 lenses from 5
This was a choice between the barlow lens and the $99 zoom lens by the same manufacturer. While the 8 t0 24 power zoom was very nice, I already has 6 fixed lenses from other sources. What I found is that the Barlow can take my 25x, 15x, and 10x lenses and they become 12.5x 7.5, and 5 power lenses. So, in actual use, I have 6 lenses 25x down to 5x... My scope is the Explore Scientific ED80,the low end one that sold last year for $129, which came with a 25X lens. My tripod is the Nano 3 for $119 by the same brand. This scope + tripod combination is not stable enough for the 5X use, and pretty shaky for 7.5, but both usable if you have enough patience. NOTE : Be very sure to slide the scope body up and down in the tripod clamp area ( with your Barlow and a 20X lens mounted for balance ) , until the scope stops slowly rising or falling off target. ) If like me, and an amateur who wants a terrestrial / astronomical budget setup, I recommend this approach. Once you really enjoy the hobby, sell this , not losing too much money, and buy your better ED80...the doublet or triplet version. Keep your Barlow and a couple favorite lenses...you may find the scope itself is more important than several $300 premium priced lenses !

Amazing 2X Barlow Lens (also has a "hidden bonus")
This Celestron Omni 2X Barlow Lens is amazing for the money! Crystal clear optics and instantly doubles the power of any telescope eyepiece. 20mm eyepiece becomes a 10mm eyepiece (i.e. if using a 1000mm aperture telescope, the 20mm eyepiece gives 50X power. Use the Celestron Omni 2X Barlow Lens, and it translates your eyepiece to a 10mm and also 100X power!). The "hidden bonus" that I mentioned in the title? Look closely at the image of the Celestron Omni... See the bottom of it? That's where the main Barlow Lens is. You can unscrew it, remove it, and screw it into the bottom of ANY 1.25" telescope eyepiece! So, not only do you have a main 2X Barlow Lens, but you get the additional " hidden bonus" of a 1.5X booster lens as well! Plain: 20mm eyepiece w/ 1000mm aperture scope: 50X power. 2X Barlow: 20mm (now 10mm) w/ 1000mm aperture scope: 100X power. 1.5X lens from Barlow: 20mm (now 13.3mm) w/ 1000mm aperture scope: 75.18X power.

Not bad, not great
I have a Celestron Nexstar SE6 with a Celestron zoom 24mm-8mm. I got this Barlow to increase the magnification a bit further (pretty much close to the max recommended magnification for this telescope). It does the job at a cost, image gets quite darker (makes sense, you are not increasing the telescope light capture surface, your are just expanding the tiny slice the Barlow gets), but what disappointed me the most is the focus. It is pretty much impossible to get a decent focus on the image, and it looks a bit distorted. I am not sure whether all Barlows behave like this, but at the end of multiple attempts I just took it out and decided not to use it, I just use the zoom down to 8mm. In terms of construction, it's alright, fits well, secures well.. but on the image quality side, I am not impressed.
