It’s a carbon fiber pattern on the fob cover.

Does the case interfere with signal?

Very nice and useful and work perfect.

Is this product actually solid carbon fiber, or is it carbon fiber applied to a metal case?

I’m not sure it seemed more like aluminum and it didn’t work very well, and always pop apart.

Does the cover get scratched easily?

No. But, I also took care of mine.
