Speedo Unisex Swim Cap Latex

I have purple hair and I have been avoiding the pool because the chlorine can ruin my expensive dye job and make the colors fade faster. However, I live in a very hot sunny state and I really didn't want to miss out on using the pool at my apartment. So I bought this swim cap in hopes that it would keep my hair dry and protected from the chlorine while swimming. It's a bit tricky to get on if you're not used to using swim caps, but it's not too hard. I have a somewhat small head but it still fit quite snug (the way a swim cap should fit). I was able to dunk my head under water and my hair remained dry. I would definately recommend this swim cap for anyone who might have need of one, especially if you have hair dyed a "fashion" color (like Purple).

Great swim cap for the price. It’s a little tight, but I’m sure that it willloosen up overtime.

Speedo used to the quality brand but this cap is the thinnest most cheaply made swim cap I’ve ever purchased. It sticks together after drying so much so it takes forever to get it apart.

Water still came under the cap, maybe I have an odd shaped head. How do you compare different head sizes?

Too thin! Made with latex, so it sticks together. Which makes it difficult to peel apart. Looks great if and when you get it on your head! Needs a little patience. Mine tore while attempting to separate the latex. Good luck.

I bought this cap for a return visit to the Blue Lagoon in Iceland. During my first visit to this amazing place I wore no swim cap, and the experience was glorious except for what the silica-filled water did to my thin, fine hair. Despite immediate thorough shampooing and conditioning after swimming in the lagoon, my hair felt horribly like cornstalks! After three more such treatments there was little improvement until a couple of months later when my hairdresser did many expensive conditioning treatments, and finally my hair returned to normal. As a result, I was hoping for a swim cap that would REALLY KEEP THE WATER OUT, and this one absolutely did! Thank you for such an excellent product! I HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMEND this swim cap to anyone who truly needs to keep the water out of their hair!!

Although my wife says this is a little too big for her small head, even with the hair up in a bun, she likes it better than the silicone caps. The silicone caps are too tight and don't flex very well. Silicone hurts after a few minutes. Speedo makes great latex caps. The black cap with the American flag really stands out. Everyone in the pool compliments her on wearing it.

Swim caps have come a long way since I was at school! Got this for my daughter. It arrived in good condition and with full instructions. Couldn't believe it was shipped from the USA though, hadn't realised this when I ordered it. Soft, comfortable and easy to get on.
