I have been searching online and the prices are outrageous for a nice table. I have a beautiful dining room table but its too big for my kitchen so I decided I would take it apart and store it. Well I thought I could use the pedestal and just get a table top. This is perfect just stain it to match. Thick and heavy barely see the seams. I picked one side over the other due to preference on knots and grain. The edges are well done. Smooth top. its exactly what I was looking for. And I got it a week before expected. I had a question and they responded the same day so the company is very responsive. It may have stained beautifully too but I suspect you may still see where some of the wood was fused together.
