First off I'm sure these are excellent products for a traditional shotgun. But I do believe they messed up my Kel-Tec KSG. Which to my understanding works differently than a traditional shotgun. Purchased these to cycle through the KSG and noticed the back rims getting chewed up a bit. Metal shavings started collecting in the mechanics of the shotgun. Our newly purchased KSG worked well enough at the range before purchasing these. But after running these through back at home and returning to the range, I couldn't cycle one real round through without having to manually removing the spent shells. I believe these shells eat away at the extractor on the KSG. Rendering it useless after every single shot. Was able to send the KSG for repair. And they said they had to replace the extractor completely. (Free of charge. So that's pretty awesome of them). Now it works flawlessly. Would highly recommend not using anything other than already spent shot gun shells to practice cycling through a KSG. (Or not messing with it at all till a day at the range for that matter). Again tho, these are a great product. Just wrong application on my end. Hopefully no one else makes the same mistake.

Whether you're doing loading/unloading drills (a must) or failure to fire drills with normal pews, these are a must. They are high quality and the weight is approximate to a live round, which helps build that aspect of muscle memory. Even though I have 45 yrs experience in the matter, I still needed practice and this is the safe way to do so. No accidents! I'm glad I bought them! You will be too.

after my 1st shotgun purchase, i wanted to practice and get familiar with the controls. snap caps are a perfect alternative to understanding the loading process and protects the firearm from dry fire. This cycled well in my mossberg security pump perfectly. Even practiced with "tactical" reloads from a side saddle

Used with my Mossberg 88 Maverick and it worked well. No issues so far.
