The Tilta FX6 Cage has been a major step up in my rigging workflow. The design feels like it was built with working cinematographers in mind. The integrated rail support is the standout feature for me, since it makes mounting follow focus systems, matte boxes, and other accessories fast and solid without having to add extra adapters. Build quality is excellent. Everything locks down tight with no play, and it balances well whether I’m shoulder mounting, using a gimbal, or building out for tripod work. All of the camera’s buttons, doors, and slots remain accessible, which is critical on fast paced shoots. I had used the SmallRig FX6 kit before and found it reliable, but once I moved to Tilta the difference was clear. This cage gives me more flexibility for professional builds while still keeping the footprint manageable. For serious FX6 shooters who want a cage that can handle heavy rigs and still move quickly, the Tilta kit is worth the investment.

The cages of high-quality materials definitely worth getting for a low budget. My only issue is is that the instruction manual was overly complicated and included stuff that was not in the box

I love this cage! it really expands the capabilities of the Fx6. My only slight grievance is the monitor cable is a bit difficult to get out once the cage is on BUT and this is a big but - because of this it also protects that connection which I think is far more valuable than the slight, and I mean slight, issue with disconnecting it. It's still a 5-star product.

Camera bodies like the SONY FX-6 must have a cage and Tilta camera cage is perfectly suited for the SONY. And be sure to add the V-mount battery adapter that allows all your peripherals to power seamlessly. 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Fit is good. Does NOT include Tilta Wireless Video Mounting Bracket for Sony FX6. Instructions are relatively clear except one item included with the kit wasn't shown in the manual nor does it have an obvious purpose, yet. If you also need to get an external battery solution (V mount or Gold mount) definitely buy the Advanced kit as you also get wireless mounting bracket.

Ein Cage der perfekt passt. Hochwertig, sehr gut verarbeitet. Dazu gibt es Erweiterungsmöglichkeiten und 2 unterschiedliche Lösungen für V-Mounts. Aber Achtung: Die oberen Haltungen für die 15mm Rods passen (hinten) nicht wie angegeben bei Verwendung des Sony-Originalgriffes. Und damit kann man auch den Akkuhalter mit Rod-Montage nicht verwenden. Findet man aber erst selbst raus, wenn man das so wie beworben montieren möchte.
