Microscale Micro Krystal Klear # MSKK

Krystal Klear is great for making windows in models and gluing clear plastic to models. Watch Youtube(tm) videos on how to make windows and be sure the windows are level when drying so the liquid does not pool at one end.

Works well for what I purchased it for. Needed a glue that would dry clear on clear plastic. Worked as needed.

I'm building a 1/72 Emily flying boat. It has over a dozen small windows. As shown in my first attempt I was able to use capillary action to MAKE windows. Given this old Hasegewa kit has bubbles in most of the plastic windows, being able to skip them for the majority of the windows is wonderful. It is also an effective "White Glue" meaning you can use it hold smaller pieces in place while dry fitting larger pieces. So in this kit I used it to hold the flight deck in place while I worked on the fuselage halves. It is also useful with modeling putty to provide a "backing" so you don't need to put as much putty in a gap. When working around cockpit windows this is a big deal as you don't want white putty seeping under the window onto the black dashboard top. The only improvement is that you have to apply it with a toothpick. If it had a spout or dispense where I could deposit a drop on my mixing pallet (recommend Daikoye 30 PCS White here on Amazon) it would make life easier and allow me more control over how much goes onto the toothpick (vs dipping or trying to pick some up off the top).

I was a bit hesitant at first, but this product works great. I use it to put windows in locomotives and structures. It looks good. You can also use it as an adhesive for when you need a clear application finish. Good product.

. A useful product for building models. Good for cementing clear plastic parts. Dries clear. Won't harm plastic surfaces. Also handy for making small windows.

Works as advertised! You will need to use a toothpick or needle to apply it. When finished drying, it will give a glass-like appearance, giving a look of mostly authentic glass. The one thing that makes it not look like real glass is the warping due to it not having a solid surface to ensure there is an even coating. However, for small windows with either light or paint behind it, the warps aren't noticeable.

If you do your own lettering of models, this is a must to give your project that professional look.
