My splitter called for me to rotate the handle to have the ports pointing down, installation was a breeze and the Hydroworks valve is of high quality and works flawlessly. Highly Recommended Review: Reverse operation. UPDATE - Don't be fooled. This valve works in the opposite direction as most other valves on the market. If you follow manufacturers directions, when you push handle out(towards log) it retracts the cylinder. Pull it back and the cylinder goes out. UPDATE: After changing hoses, re-positioning the pivot on the handle, and spacing the valve up off of the mounting location, the valve is working as expected. The only downside is the literature included. One place it shows attaching hose one way, another the opposite. I think our American Distributors need a proof reader when purchasing foreign products.
