how long does the Duracell aa batteries fully charged with my eastshine s2 charger?

I like to use the charger the batteries came with if at all possible and if you didn't get a charger with it, one similar to what is used in the photo or as instructed. I usually get the ones with the charger if they aren't way too much with the batteries. Some are not much more with the charger. Then when you need another charger, you have one.

what's the difference between NIMH rechargeable and regular rechargeable duracell batteries?

All regular 1.2V Rechargeable batteries are either NiMH or NICD. NiMH is the newer chemistry of the 2.

Is anyone else having an issue with these batteries getting extremely hot after charging? is that an issue with the batteries or duracell charger?

Not me. For me these batteries just get warm to touch when I charge them using duracell or a generic charger. It is just warm to touch no hot at all.
