Great!!
Perfect for vlogging on my Sony ZVE 10! This lens is lightweight! The 4K image that I get from this lens is perfect for my use! A little expensive, but you have to pay to play! Build quality is better then most Sigma lenses that I've used!

Great lens!
Very crisp optics, yet light and not bulky. This is the perfect wide angle lens for my Sony A-6400!

Real estate professionals
I bought the Sony E 11mm f/1.8 lens to pair with my Sony ZV-E10, and it’s been a total game-changer for both short-form and long-form video content. As a real estate professional, I needed something that could deliver crisp, cinematic visuals while giving viewers a true sense of space—and this lens absolutely delivers. Whether I'm filming walkthroughs, vlogs, or capturing stills of properties, this lens has become my go-to. The ultra-wide angle is perfect for tight interior spaces, and it beautifully captures exteriors and surrounding environments. Even though I use other tools like the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 and DJI Gimbal 4 Mini Pro, nothing beats the sharpness and depth I get from this lens. Low light performance is solid, and the bokeh at f/1.8 adds a professional look to any video. If you're a content creator or realtor looking to elevate your visuals, especially for YouTube or social media, this lens is 100% worth the investment.

Wide-angle low light performer in a small package
This lens isn't perfect, but it's good for what it is (see headline). It's only within the past year or so that manufacturers have decided to jump on the wide-angle bandwagon, and I'm all for it! It doesn't help that the sensor is cropped, hence the "C" in APS-C. I like doing landscape astrophotography, which is why I sometimes wish I had gone straight to full frame. However, with this lens, I can get a good amount of real estate at 11mm (equivalent to 16.5mm full frame). F/1.8 also lets in a good amount of light. When I’m not doing low light long exposure shots on a tripod, the auto focus is fast. Minimum focus distance is small, which might make this lens great for macro shots except you’ll sometimes end up creating a shadow if you go too close. The downside is obvious to anyone who has even used the lens once: the barrel distortion is pretty bad. If I were shooting with this lens and didn't have any software to edit the images in, I would have given this lens a lower rating. There is a little bit of purple fringing wide open, but that can be corrected in post (see picture with trees). Cynics might say that Sony was being cheap with creating a smaller lens, but I think the intention was to keep the lens light and small. This does matter; I’ve had to worry about some of my bigger lenses slamming into bigger objects when I have the camera strapped to me. My Sony A6500 is small, and this 11mm lens feels like it complements the camera. With some bigger lenses, it can feel like you’re attaching a camera to your lens rather than the other way around. I've added a variety of pictures to showcase this lens's capabilities. If you’re able to fix the distortion either through the camera or in post (such as Lightroom profile correction), this lens is a keeper.

Great and light little lens for specific applications
This a very wide lens. Fantastic for vlogs and I some interior shots we’ve taken, but the stretching around the edges was just too much for me. I had to crop in on most of the shots in post. The lens for the most part is sharp and the autofocus lived up to the hype.

This is the best wide angle lens ever
This is the whitest and sharpest lens on the market that doesn’t cave-in and make it look like one of those go pros it’s insane for photography and vlogging which is what I use it for The only downside to this lens is that there’s not very practical ways to zoom in and out to make your videos, more engaging and all that but I really love this thing so I’m still gonna rate it five stars

New favorite ultra wide
Smaller, less noise, more detail, sharper, brighter and wider than my previous 12mm 2.0 lens. Super close in all aspects to the full frame version as well. Excited to start taking photos with it!
