I have "drop foot" and they are a lifesaver ...much more comfortable that the expensive ortho prescibed lace-up contraptions. You will place your foot on top of the strong poly frames and trace around your toes so that it will fit only into YOUR shoes. Do NOT remove your shoe liners. In fact, after I insert these into my shoes, I place padded/cushioned inserts that are custom made for my feet. I have worn these every day for many, many months. The two velcro straps hold everything in place and I don't think it would work as well with some of the ones I see with just one strap. The ankle strap is needed as much as the calf strap.
