Works well for setting up a bass guitar

Fender 351 shape with a sharp tip, made with Dunlop Ultex material type of material. As tough material as I’ve ever used. Incredibly thin but durable and great flexibility; no memory always returns flat. 60mm allows you to strum with the right amount of flex for power strums. Grip material helps you keep from easily slipping out of position.

Sturdy stainless steel design with what seems to be quality measurement line and number etching. Should make adjustments to my guitars much easier.

I should have had one of these in my tool kit but this is my first. It helps to have a tool designed for string instrument setup as opposed to eyeballing every parameter. It's easy to use and inexpensive - a nice accessory.

Easy to use and decent quality. The size is a little bit small and the accuracy is not perfect but it's close and it gets the job done. Overall decent value.

Very handy when setting up a mandolin or guitar

This apparatus makes measuring your guitars string height and action a breeze. You put it right up againt the 1st string on the 12th fret and it has easy to read markings to tell if it needs to be adjusted, and you do the same on the 6th string at the 12th fret. It even has the ideal height ranges for acoustic, electric and bass guitars so you know what your dealing with as far as getting the desired guitar action you want.

Nice addition to the tool box. With some knowledge, it is helpful to get the best action and sound from your strings.
